[laughter] >> i mean, a month ago sitting in a corporate office in los typing away on a computer for eight hours a day. i got an email all of a sudden. that email,hours of i quit my job and leased my apartment and came here to iowa. mrs. biden: wow! hey! [applause] awesome. i'm so happy to be here. i came out here, not because it's glamorous to knock on doors for eight hours a day and call all of you -- mrs. biden: in minus four

degrees, right? >> it's -- but it's fulfilling work and it's something that eeded to be done needed to be done because we need someone like joe biden to be president. i have been fighting for mental health in our schools. coming, they're bringing poverty, food insecurity, domestic violence. help.eed not only that, the teachers are aying to me, jill, it's too much. we're trying to teach english or social studies. ur kids are coming to us because there's nobody at home. they're working two and three jobs. they ome to us because trust us. isn't that right? don't you feel that? >> oh, yes. of the things one joe is going to work on is health in rural communities. can i tell you right here in three days ago, i had a woman come up to me privately jill, your husband has to work on climate change. i said, of course. of the first things he'll do is sign the agreement, the paris agreement. yeah, but our farm was flooded. twice. said,

she said the first time we recouped. we got back up on our feet. time, we lost everything. my husband , jill, had a nervous breakdown. and i had to put him in a health facility. and she said, i'm alone on our farm. said, i don't know what to do. farmers, of ate of farmers is skyrocketing. of america knew that about rural america. mental s going to put health clinics in rural america. hospitals, build our the infrastructure, better chools, rural america, urban america. joe biden is for all americans, and i think you got to feel that heart, because he will make the best president. understands the problems of all americans. his job and had

she has young women come in and talk about depression. mrs. biden: i worked at a psychiatric hospital in the adolescent unit, i taught about ounseling, i'm there. most of the kids were there because they had tried to commit suicide but a lot of them were cutters a lot of them ad problems -- i've seen it. these shows around the country. they talk about it. mrs. biden: i'll look it up online. >> it's to reduce the stigma. mrs. biden: there. most of the thank you, tell her thank you. >> thank you. mrs. biden: would you like a picture? >> oh, yeah.
