teachers and staff in georgia do not enjoy the protection of strong teacher unions and state has exempted schools from liability around covid. a teacher recognized for excellence chose to quit her job and wrote me saying, fortunately my family earns enough money not to return to teach but there are so many others who don't have this blessing and forced into dangerous circumstances. they can't speak up and their employment will be on the line. unless others speak up and out, this mess will continue. i join this teacher in speaking out. we owe our educators the courtesy of basic public health protection and prioritization in receiving the vaccine. i yield back. the speaker pro tempore: for what purpose does the gentleman from south carolina seek recognition? mr. wilson: i request unanimous consent to address the house for one minute and revise and extend my remarks. the speaker pro tempore: without

objection. the gentleman is recognized for bun minute. mr. wilson: thank you, mr. speaker. it has been estimated the paris accord will droy 2.7 million american jobs and in "the washington examiner" on february 26 exposes more dangers. president biden's decision to join the par is climate accord and commits the united states to entangle american businesses and jobs and new length of red tape and will probably increase electricity prices. china which emits twice as much carbon has been given the rest of the world nothing but empty promises. biden is giving the store away for nothing. he should demand verification. in conclusion, god bless our troops and we will never forget the global war on terrorism and i appreciate president biden recognizing the lives loss. president trump took the first action to ban travel from china.

116 points for over 30 years. a native of the d.c. area, he was a star player leading the squad to a city championship by being named d.c. player of the year. he has been a dominant player at the university of iowa against chicago state and gone on to win numerous conference and national awards and big ten player of the year and sporting new player of the year last season. as a former member of the fack cult last year, i was thrilled for him to return instead of heading to the nba draft. with four regular season games, the big ten and march mad necessary, he will break his own records and best place to live, work and raise a family. i yield back. the speaker pro tempore: for what purpose does the gentlewoman from georgia seek

ms. sanders died january 14 after a battle of cancer. she was a wife, mother and friend to all with an extraordinary passion with helping others. her love for children led to her founding kids first with charlotte broadcaster john hancock and the organization expanded its outreach providing 2,000 children during christmas and raising $80,000. sharon remained devoted to kids first. despite her hospitalization, she was overjoyed they were able to help 1,000 families during the holidays. charlotte and community will miss you greatly and a privilege to honor you today. i yield back. the speaker pro tempore: pursuant to 12-a of rule 1, the chair declares
