>> we have been telling you the weather pattern this week wouldn't shift much. we would be stuck. we're stuck on the good side. we're stuck with another round of mild temperatures. posting a lot of 40s in the mountains. much colder in gunnison. 70s again. southeast colorado. little taste of summer there. and we did cool back just a bit. in greeley. and fort collins. 52. 55. but the 60s were on again. in denver. you can thank the wind out there. once again. for pumping up the temperatures. it blew into the city.

we were at 66 yesterday. so 64 today. a two degree difference. we should be at a 45. about 20 degrees cooler. beautiful sunset. under way. with the setting sun. reflecting off clouds. curling over the top of downtown. 57 downtown. ten degrees cooler at the airport. east wind kind of blowing in cooler air. you can see temperatures in the upper 40s. and low 50. you go to the west side. and temperatures are still in the upper 50s. and low 60s out there. across the rest of the front range. again. eastern plains. 40 degrees air. you can see it. you get into the city and south. temperatures up in boulder. castle rock and parker. all in the 50s. again the wind was a factor. today. coming out of the west. blew into the city. a west wind is a warm wind -fpltd. it brings the temperatures up. the wind is switching. more easterly. across the metro. it's noticeable. wind speeds up over ten miles per hour. for later tonight once the sunsets the winds on the eastern plains will lay down. the only place we'll see strong

those clouds that are out there. will thin a bit. i'm expecting partly sunny skies tomorrow. you'll have clouds in the morning. lift out. stkp then watch here in northeast colorado. we'll get a thicker cloud deck. that will back in. we'll see some of the clouds coming into denver. this thick cloud deck out here on the eastern plains. is going to really cool the temperatures there. down quite a bit. remember there is much colder air just east. of colorado. and some of that will clip the northeast corner. statewide. quiet tonight. cloud cover early in the morning. sun sheen ore the phoeupb beautiful there. you can see the cloud cover coming in. notice it's cold enough out here. they may get a new snow showers. here's the difference. watch the temperatures. tonight. teens and 20s in the mountains. 20s 30s over the plains. and then highs tomorrow. you can notice. back into the 40s and 50s. very warm conditions. in the high country. cooler 50s. and cooler 60s. from denver to the south and east. and there's that colder air. easing into northeast colorado.
