((karen castro)) it was packed house during today's campaign rally. the gym at bonanza high school was completely at capacity. some supporters had to be turned away but i'm told bernie sanders greeted them outside. there was a bigger turnout than what we saw at hillary clinton's event in henderson yesterday. sanders spoke to a diverse crowd for about an hour. he covered an array of topics... many of them got a loud reaction from the crowd.
he will need everyone's vote to win the nevada democratic caucus on saturday. he says... if elected, wealth equality is at the top of his "to do list." the senator riled up the crowd talking about the greed in wall street. he promised to raise the minimum wage to 15-dollars an hour... and demand equal pay for women. hundred marriage licenses have been issued in clark county this valentine's day weekend....with more expected. keeping chapels like this one extremely busy with love birds getting hitched on february 14th. las vegas is the place to tie the knot for many people today. this couple came in from wisconsin just to get married after he proposed to her in his truck. for many...the special anniversary is something they say they won't soon forget. vegas weddings has been offering up special ceremonies. they're first couple got married right at midnight today. they plan to stay open late until the evening. with many eyes on vegas for valetine day weddings...folks with the chapel say it's been good for business.
