((kirsten joyce)) the democratic caucus was saturday.. and tomorrow.. republicans will head to the polls. 8 news now reporter michael stevens joins us now live... michael... it was a tight race here over the weekend. ((michael stevens)) brian, kirsten... it really was... now the g-o-p candidates are setting their sights on nevada ahead of tomorrow's caucus... in fact, we're standing outside the durango community center... where ted cruz will be later on this morning. nevada democrats caucused on saturday,, clinton took the state.. but not by a large margin. clinton took about 53 percent.... while sanders took 47. clinton thanked supporters... saying she has the momentum..

while sanders blamed low turnout for the loss.. and says.. he's not going anywhere. ((brian loftus)) donald trump -- who just won south carolina's primary-- will be in town tonight. south point arena. doors open at 5 pm.. the event gets underway at 7./// ((brian loftus)) > marco rubio essentially tied for second place in the south carolina primary.. he was in town last night at texas station in north las vegas. more than 1- thousand people came out to show their support.. including donnie wahlberg. rubio told the crowd he's ready to lead: ((donnie walhberg: i'm going to be very honest right now....i have never, never voted for a candidate.

((kirsten joyce)) > a michigan man will be arraigned today... accused of a 7- hour shooting spree that left at least 6 people dead and two others injured. the suspect... who is an uber driver.. reportedly picked up passengers in between the shootings. don champion reports. jason brian dalton faces multiple murder and weapons charges connected to a deadly shooting rampage in kalamazoo. officials say the 45-year-old uber driver targeted his victims at random. mark dunton gets chills thinking about his encounter th the accused killer: (mark dunton/ uber passenger ) "it's crazy to think that someone could have gone out and just done all these horrible things and came to work

just coming to work dunton and his friends heard about the killing spree and got nervous when dalton picked them up in a car that matched the one police were looking for.. (mark dunton/ uber passenger) my buddy scott actually said something to him said hey this isn't the hhr, you're not the guy are you? and he said no 53-year-old richard smith and his 17-year-old son tyler were killed car shopping at this dealership. barbara hawthorne was among those killed at this cracker barrel. (patti jones/ friend of victim) when a tragedy like this strikes you never expect it to be this close at home the first victim in the shooting spree was a woman who was shot multiple times at an apartment complex. she is expected to survive. the sheriff says her quick actions saved the lives of several children including 12-year- old joi coleman: (joi coleman, 12- year-old survivor) he shot her once, and she was still running, and then he shot her again, and she fell. and she was asking joi help me joi help me. dalton, a married father of two, had no prior criminal history. don champion cbs news. ((kirsten joyce)) first.. bill cosby's wife, camille, is expected to give her deposition today.. in a defamation lawsuit against the comedian. cosby's attorney's are still trying to stop this.. but it's still scheduled to happen this morning. 8 women sued cosby.. claiming he portrayed them as liars, after they publicly assaulting them. they're among 50 women who allege sexual misconduct allegations against cosby. he denies any wrongdoing. cosby faces separate criminal charges of sexual assault in pennsylvania./// ((brian loftus)) > and erin andrews' 75- million dollar lawsuit is slated to begin today. she's suing marriott hotels... claiming the hotel and others allowed a man to book rooms next to her, rig peepholes, and film her while she was changing. andrews claims this happened in

((brian loftus)) > a woman accused of killing her friend's baby boy is set to be in court this morning. cynthia lavender is scheduled to am. she's charged with 1 count of murder and three counts of child abuse with substantial bodily harm. police say she was babysitting a friend's 5- month old boy earlier this month and admitted to throwing the baby and later dropping him. the little boy succumbed to his injuries... on february 5th./// ((brian loftus)) > and the father of a young boy who shot and killed himself...is also set to appear in court today. metro police say olin manuel's 12- year-old son committed suicide with his father's gun.. on february 13th. the boy died at the hospital. manuel was arrested last
