greeley. denver 59. pueblo today a high of 65. big change starting nday. we'll talk about it coming up. >> with the warm temperatures we have the strong winds out to the west. no officiil advisories for highway 93 or i-70, but the cameras have been bouncing around and you'll feel the winds. right now from i-25 and 84th avenue, it looks okay. lane squeeze at 84th. they had to barricade at that right lane putting in drainage grates, so they have to let the concrete cure and had to keep everybody off it. it's why they have that in place. they're trying to accelerate that work. now we're looking at a good drive. in a little while we'll see that backup form. the rest of the drive looks nice, including 225, but a blip at i-70, or south of i-70 near colfax. i'll take a look at that and see if that's turning into something or a blip on the radar there. >> checking the blips. breaking news, look at this, this is out of denver.
the sidewalk between a wall and a tree. this happened at speer and clarkson overnight. police say when they went to investigate the driver was gone. no word where he could be. women on the du campus are on highhalert after flee forcible fondlings in the past week. sally mamdooh joins us live with how people in the area are dealing with this. >> reporter: campus safety officials are taking new measures to try and improve safety around areas like this, because it's so dark now out here. it's scary for anybody that's walking up and down this area here. this is lso an area where one of the incidents took place. here are the measures campus safety is taking a look at taking.
both foot and car patrol around and near the campus. the suspect description is vague. victims say he's 6 feet tall, white male of college age. he's gropeed three female students at night. campus safety says all three -`women reported the incident to the university, but didn't want to make a formal report to police, which is something campus safety official don't recommend. >> it makes it difficult, but i up with pd. it makes it hard when they don't make a police report, but doesn't mean we can't use information we have to try to figure out what's going on. >> reporter: here is something campus safety officials have been telling students since the first that i'm this happened. they are asking them to be vigilant, travel in groups, especially when it's dark, and if anybody needs company to and from class they can call their escort line, and they'll send somebody out there from safety
walk to class or from class. so far this month, 150 students have used that service. just tells you how a little bit on edge these students are from these three incidents that we've been covering here. for now, we're in denver, sally mamdooh, denver 7. >> sally, thank you. it's been two weeks since three teens fell through the ice in parker killing two of them. we're hearing from the officer who saved the one who survived. he was the first officer on the scene and only cole robinson was still visible on top of the ice. he went out onto the pond, used a tree branch to rescue the boy. >> i saw cole grabbing onto that branch because he had no dexterity in his hand. he was able to grab it with his forearms and be pulled on shore. >> he said he couldn't see the

this storm seems to be picking up steam faster and so by tomorrow afternoon we could start to see a little light we'll see that through sunday. here's what it looks like on our seven-day forecast, 59 57 tomorrow. increase in clouds on saturday. as snow develops late saturday into sunday, we'll start to see light accumulation sunday. it gets heavier sunday night into monday, which could leave us with about 6 to 12 inches. snow. we've been talking these totals since early in the week and it still looks like it could be 6 to 12 in denver. in denver you'll find pockets change. 30 monday, 22 tuesday. it gets a lot colder overnight with single digit by the middle of next week. >> that storm really could impact the folks that went to -`san francisco, san jose -- >> and coming home?
