we want to get straight to the weather this morning. a lot of ice and fog out there. the next winter storm is moving into the region today bringing additional snow as well as travel impacts across the sierra. another, weaker storm may impact the forecast area on saturday before a ridge of high pressure returns to the region early next week. main change to the forecast was to add freezing fog to many valley locations and to issue a freezing fog advisory. many locations are reporting lowered visibility as well as very icy roads. morning commuters are urged to leave plenty of extra time for travel as roads will be extremely icy and hazardous. dense freezing fog

win... he says it's been a lucky week for people who bought lotto tickets at gold ranch on saturday one of our guests won 12 thousand 700 dollars and on wednesday somebody hit that fantasy 5 for 69 thousand dollars so its been a great week out here. macintosh says he hopes the luck will continue into tonight and a powerball winner will come from a ticket bought there. he says gold ranch had a big winner with the super lotto back in the early 2000s but has never had a big powerball winner. people of course have their own ways of picking numbers... some go with quick picks.. others filling out their lucky numbers.... other people research which numbers are picked most often and go with those but max wiswell who buys a lotto ticket every week says he has one trick that gives him and everyone in line hoping the same thing.... public safety. a man who's lived in northern nevada for a decade, is currently facing deportion. local advocates and religious communities are teaming up to save this husband and father from going back to mexico. but kolo 8 news nows catherine van explains how the odds might be against him. arlene: how can we be a family if we're going to be a part. a family can't be apart. arlene torres stands before the media asking the public for some compassion for her husband, jose gastelum. arlene: to be without him is like our lives will change. he's set to be deported back to mexico friday... after living in northern nevada without documentation for almost a decade. the family has teamed up with local churches and an advocacy group call actionn to rally enough support from the community to stop the u.s. immigration and
