corrected... and rolled over. she was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries. troopers don't believe alcohol or drugs are involved... but say today is a day people need to be extra cautious on the road. we alwasy have those few who cause problems for others so we just ask that everyone be careful this sunday and enjoy the ball game and get home safely. no other cars were involved in the accident. reno police are looking for two men who broke into a total wine store and took a large amount of merchandise early this morning. it happened shortly after midnight, when officers responded to a report of a break-in at the store located on south virginia street. when officers arrived on scene, they found a smashed window. the suspects made off with a "large amount" of merchandise. police are looking for two black men seen driving a white, four- door pickup truck. anyone with any information is asked to call the reno police department or secret

the body of one of the two fishermen who went missing in pyramid lake has been recovered. authorities say it was found just off of warrior point in water about 130 feet deep. today, searchers were expected to continue their search for the second man. both were visiting from the bay area. they disappeared during a fishing trip on january first. washoe county's second judicial district court is warning you about a phone scam targeting washoe county residents. scammers claim that the potential victim failed to appear for jury duty on a specific date and that a fine of up to two thousand five hundred dollars must be paid to avoid arrest. the scammer will sometimes say multiple letters were already sent and law enforcement will be coming to potential victim's home.... if the fine is not paid. the second judicial district court does not issue citations for missing jury duty and they never accept

a similar scam is happening with scammers using the names of washoe county sheriff's office staff. if you ever received a phone call like this, call the sheriff's office at 328-3001. the united nations security council is condemning north korea's rocket launch. the council met for an emergency meeting today where the council members will develop significant new sanctions against north korea. "we'll be looking to all council members to unite around a swift and aggressive response to the dprk's repeated violations that constitute this very direct threat to global peace and security " the new sanctions could come as early as next week. the missile was launched from western north korea yesterday. the missile passed over japan and landed near the philippines. north korea insists they launched a satellite into space.

the c-d-c is apthe c-d-c's new guideline tells health professionals to "advise a woman to stop drinking... if she is trying to get pregnant or not using birth control with sex." the c-d-c has warned about the dangers of drinking while pregnant.but many women felt this guideline is over- stepping the boundary in terms of what women can do with their own bodies. "it just makes no sense to me. " "are you serious? is this really what you feel comfortable telling your wife, your sister, your daughter? " the c-d-c stands by the recommendation saying

pregnancies in the u-s are unplanned. and many women don't know they are pregnant for several weeks, which could "unintentionally" put their child at risk. the american lung association released their "state of tobacco control" for 2016. this report grades individual states for their efforts in tobacco control efforts. nevada received a "f" in most areas. our state failed in tobacco prevention and cessation funding, tobacco taxes, and access to cessation services. nevada did get a "c" for smoke free air, which looked at where smoking is prohibited or restricted. during the 2015 legislative session, nevada passed a one dollar tax increase on cigarettes. the one dollar increase brings the state's cigarette tax to a dollar and eighty cents per pack. which is the 18th highest in the country. according to a c-d-c report, smoking
