it's monday, february 22nd. i'm amanda sanchez and i'm dave lawrence. candidates are gearing up for tomorrow's g-o-p caucuses here in nevada. many are making several stops throughout the silver state today. here's a live look from virginia city where republican presidential candidate ben carson will hold a town hall later this morning. he'll be at piper's opera house. doors open at 7:30 this morning and the event begins at 9:30. let's go to lindsey matherly with a look at the forecast. high pressure will strengthen over the sierra and western nevada,
through the work week. above average temperatures today will ease down to near average tuesday, then jump to well above average for wednesday through friday. the next chance for light precipitation will be saturday. a fast-moving upper in the race for the white house.... it's the democrats turn in the deep south while the republicans are now here in nevada for tomorrow's caucuses. this morning, donald trump is still riding high after his big weekend win in south carolina. he scored all 50 of the state's delegates. nevada caucus winner hillary clinton is favored in south carolina. she's already focused on the super tuesday states like texas where she rallied over the weekend. although clinton won the nevada caucus, bernie sanders saw an overwhelming amount of support from u-n-r students. many people said they support sanders because they have similar views on social policies. "pretty much all of them but i think the most progressive

bill cosby's wife, camille cosby, is set to be questioned today in a defamation lawsuit brought againgst her husband. in the lawsuit, seven women alleged cosby defamed them by branding them as liars when they went public about the sexual assault. cosby denied those allegations and filed a contersuit. lawyers for the cosbys attempted to reject the deposition subpoena, arguing camille cosby doesn't have any relevant information about the lawsuit. areva martin sot: " no wife wants to go into a deposition or public forum and have to testify about her personal relationship with her husband. definitely not testify about his relationships with other women. " the cosby lawyers also argued that the converstations camille has had with her husband are confidential, but a judge ruled yesterday that the deposition hearing will go on. sports reporter erin andrews is set to return to nashville for her negligence lawsuit
case in 20-08 in which a man rigged hotel peepholes and filmed andrews changing clothes. andrews accuses marriott and others of allowing a man to book enabling him to make the videos. andrews is seeking 75- million dollars. the u-s supreme court will resume hearing cases today in the first session since antonin scalia's death. the remaining 8 supreme court justices stood next to scalia's casket as it lay in repose inside the supreme court building last friday. city of reno veteran programs, will host an indoor cycling event on monday, february 22, 2016 starting at noon. it will be held at great basin bicycles, which is located at 8048 south virginia street in reno. the event, called "pedal 22 for the 22," will introduce cycling volunteers from the reno community to r2r program participants and start preparations for future outdoor group rides. the r2r program participants and cyclist volunteers at the event will be asked to ride 22 miles on computrainer. the event is free for disabled veterans and $10 for the general public. participants are asked to rsvp for this event, as there are limited computrainer units available. the number 22 is significant because 22 veterans commit suicide each day , often due to despair associated with mental or physical trauma experienced during active duty. r2r's mission is to restore hope and purpose, through rehabilitative cycling, to
