the incident happened in an elevator inside a sprawling campus near main street and alma school. the victim claims a male student sexually assaulted her after the two exchanged a hug. the female student told a teacher and the school notified mesa police. the incident hand on september 15. the two classmates are in the east valley institute law enforcement program. in a statement, the school tells us they immediately notified police when the student notified the teacher. the male student has with drawn from school and that are recommending charges against him. both the victim and suspect are under age, we don't know much about their identities, especially the suspect but we're hearing the suspect may be charged as an assault.

more when that happens. following up on a murder in guadalupe. the suspect telling investigators he killed his friend because he insulted his girlfriend. the suspect ramon contreras turned himself in. he had been drinking and smoking pot throughout the day and shot his friend while he was sleeping. he is facing first-degree murder. sad ending to a search for a national park west. pima sheriff's office found the body near the hughes trail head. he got separated from his group while hiking on saturday. temperatures were about 95 degrees there and it is believed the death is heat related. are you flying out of sky harbor next month? there could be delays. that are closing one of the

a new page of controversy for sheriff paul babeu. sources tell us the fbi has subpoenaed records related to how babeu's office used seized criminal money also known as rico funds. is like money laundering. and they've also accused babeu of using the funds to fuel his campaign. it may already be illegal campaigning with government resources. or if they're just being used to make the sheriff look good, as he runs for congress.

in a hospital. today, his parents spoke about what happened and their son's recovery. >> on saturday evening, september 17, we received a call that no parent wants to receive. >> reporter: saturday night, a skydive plane plunged into the home in gilbert. the home was destroyed but everyone got out without a scratch. >> thanks to his quick and appropriate reaction, everyone on the plane survived. >> reporter: the mother and father met with media today where their son is recovering from burns. ryan stayed at the controls long enough for skydivers to jump out. >> miraculously when the skydivers were away safely and the plane lost the ability to fly, he jumped with the parachute that skydiveer pilots are required to wear.
