a c-c-s-d teacher accused of physically abusing at least one autistic student is expected in court today. james doran's bench trial was scheduled to start this morning. police arrested doran back in august at forbuss elementary schools. the man accused of opening fire and killing two people near the las vegas strip is in police custody. omar talley was arrested on saturday for the deadly shooting. this all started as a fight near the miracle mile shops on friday morning, then spilled out onto the streets around the strip. the women who were killed have been identified as 27-year-old melissa mendoza and 27-year-old

one woman was found shot in the road, and later died. the other woman drove herself and another man to the cosmopolitan valet for help. she died at the scene you might see some smoke in the air if you're living in henderson. don't be alarmed! the henderson fire department is a conducting live burn training. this started on friday, but continues until this saturday. firefighters are practicing different techniques needed to tackle fires. the department says the training is happening between 9 and 4 p.m. all week. ahead today.. g-o-p heavy-hitters are traveling all over nevada gearing up for caucus day. the man who leads in our state is coming off a big win in south carolina over the weekend... and he's already here in the valley today. donald trump is scheduled to hold a rally at the south point hotel and casino at 7 o'clock tonight. trump's south carolina victory was a clean sweep, with a double-digit win over the rest of the field. scoring all 50 of the state's delegates. trump: "you know, i didn't know i was going to win by

the alleged gunman - uber driver jason dalton is now in custody... police are trying to find out what triggered the rampage. it happened saturday night. first -- a woman was shot several times in the parking lot of a residential complex. she survived.

dealership parking lot, a father and his 17- year old son, were shot and killed. just 16 minutes later- the gunman opens fire outside a cracker barrel restaurant, killing four people, authorities are investigating whether the alleged gunman took uber fares in between shootings. state senator debbie smith has died. her passing comes a year after doctors started treating her for a malignant brain tumor. she was just 60 years old. smith leaves behind a husband and three children. hundreds of people turned out for a fund-raiser in flint, michigan. but this was unlike some of the others meant to bring clean water to the city... (pause music) these dancers took part in a zumba fundraiser- dancing, while collecting bottled water and water filters. flint contiunes to deal with toxic drinking water... a dramatic rescue in the sacramento area. a series of crashes sent a moving truck over a guardrail, trapping the driver inside. over the span of six minutes, what started as a minor collision, led to four vehicles crashing. one of them - a moving truck - flew over the edge of the yolo causeway... landed 35 feet below, and caught fire ((joe tinney, davis fire dept.) first engine company got a hoseline from up here, kept the fire in check. we could see the driver was
