i'm rikki cheese. we have team coverage on the winds. 13 weather first chief meteorologist bryan scofield is tracking the gusts in the weather center. and 13 weather first meteorologist karla huelga is out surveying the conditions going on right now at desert breeze park. first, let's send things over to bryan. a system moving across the northern great basin will continue to bring breezy to windy conditions across the area tonight and tomorrow. expect peak gusts to about 40 mph this afternoon. the gusts will taper down a bit tonight and overnight before picking back up tomorrow morning. peak gusts tomorrow will reach about 35 mph and will start to taper down by the afternoon. our team coverage continues now with 13 weather first

make sure to send us your pictures and videos. you can email them to i-contribute at ktnv.com, or tag us on social media using the hashtag i-c-13. now to an update on a story we first brought you as it was breaking-- a woman's body found inside the d. metro is investigating this as a suspicious death! the body was found in a laundry chute early yesterday morning. we're waiting for the clark investigation, where they'll identify the woman and determine the cause of death. and another body was found this morning in henderson! but police say it appears the person died of natural causes, and had been dead for a while. the body was found inside an and gibson. we're also waiting for the coroner's report on this case. a home riddled with bullet holes, after it was shot up overnight. right now, police are looking for whoever pulled the trigger, and trying to find out why this

13 action news reporter parker collins spoke with neighbors who heard the gunfire. < this road was blocked off for a while.. shell casings were all over this street. this home actually has several bullet holes. no one got hurt. a lot of neighbors hear the 6:16:51-6:16:59 "we didn't know what it was. it sounded like someone hammering on something and it was enough to wake both my wife and i up." police are looking for the shooter now. near eastern and harmon parker ns 13 action news. > new information on... the father arrested after his 12 year old son accidentally shot himself. olin manuel made his first appearance in court today. his bail has been set for 25- thousand dollars. if he gets out on bail, a judge has ordered manuel to house arrest. we also got his arrest report. it says olin manuel denied having a gun, and is not allowed to have one because he's on probation for a grand larceny arrest 2-years ago. manuel is facing charges for child abuse and neglect, as

not supposed to. his son sincere, died on wound. the arrest report is calling his death an apparent suicide. we also learned sincere was arrested last month for possession of marijuana. olin manuel will be back in court march 7th for a preliminary hearing. developing now, an uber driver is now facing 6 murder charges for those random shootings in michigan over the weekend. suspect jason dalton appeared in court for the first time this morning. he was denied bail, and investigators say dalton admitted to the shootings! police say he shot and killed six people, and hurt two others saturday. but investigators won't say what set him off. police say the bloodshed started at a residential complex, then dalton shot people at a car dealership parking lot and a restaurant. what makes this even scarier is police say all the victims were chosen at random! police are now looking into reports that dalton was working between shootings. so what does uber have to say about this??

glenn beck-- took the stage. followed by attorney general adam laxalt-- all pushing nevadans to caucus for the texas senator tomorrow. meanwhile-- ted cruz who was running late- really played up his religious ties-- giving more what felt like a sermon than a speech. he stuck to what he's been saying all along, constitutional values, a conservative supreme court justice, and what he plans to do on his first day in office. at one point cruz was interrupted by protestors... calling him out for his stance against public land. those protestors quickly escorted out. cruz joking-- he attracts bernie sanders supporters. cruz is now expected to rally more support before tomorrow meantime, fellow g-o-p contender marco rubio is holding events up in northern nevada. he held a rally up in elko and reno earlier today. and in about 30-minutes, his next event is set to start. that one is in minden. last night, he was here speaking at texas station in north las vegas. and down here in the valley, in just hours, donald trump is set to hold a rally.

middle of a highway, just outside of chicago. the bus was traveling from minneapolis to chicago. "we heard a loud boom and the bus went up in smoke probably 30 feet in the air." (butted with) lucas peterson nyt columnist "the driver kept pulling over to the side so it seemed clear there was something wrong with the bus." thankfully, no one was hurt. right now, an investigation is underway into what caused this bus to go up in flames. today the henderson fire department is starting week-long training on how to handle fires. crews will train at a vacant house near boulder highway and sunset. so don't worry if you see smoke

a 13 action news update now on a crash-- a motorcyclist has died days later after colliding with a car. the crash happened last wednesday near durango and alta, when police say the car turned in front of the motorcycle rider. the man was 62-years-old, and was ejected from his bike during the crash. metro police had originally reported the man was in stable condition. the coroner is now working to

the driver is cooperating with police. breaking news-- a man and woman rob a store on the east side, and now metro is looking for them! they're wanted for grand larceny charges. police say last month, the man pretended to be an undercover metro police officer and pulled a gun on the store's employees. this all happened at a store near sunset and pecos. they got away in a 2000's model, light-colored hyundai sonata. if you see them or their car, call police or crimestoppers. today, camille cosby was deposed in massachusetts to answer questions in a defamation lawsuit against her husband. over the weekend, her lawyers failed again in stopping this deposition, citing marital privilege. but the attorney for cosby's seven alleged victims say mrs. cosby would have revelant information, since she served as his business manager for years. areva martin: " no wife wants to go into a deposition or public forum and have to testify about her personal relationship with her husband. definitely not testify about his relationships with other women .

more than 50-women have come forward, accusing the legendary comedian of sexual assault. but mrs cosby says her husband is innocent. a judge is set to decide today whether a lawsuit brought by families of victims in the sandy hook elementary school massacre can go forward. gunman adam lanza shot and killed twenty children and six adults in 20-12. nine families and a school teacher who was shot and survived are suing companies that make the ar-15 rifle used in the attack. (nicole hockley- dylan hockley's mom)- "there were a lot of guns that the shooter could have chosen from his arsenal or his mother's arsenal in order to attack the people at sandy hook school. he chose the ar-15 because he was aware of how many shots it could get out, how lethal it was, how it was designed, that it would serve his objective of killing as many people as possible in the shortest time possible."

"hey danny! hey danny!" (butted with) "hi princess" for the first time since the valentine's day's attack, danielle jones is showing signs of improvement. she is opening her eyes and blinking. that roommate is 35-year-old bryon mitchell. they had only been living together for a week. and mitchel called police...saying jones attacked him, and he acted in self-defense. self defense would be a black "not only did he admit in the police report to banging her head against the floor and choking her but the mutalation of her face is the mo of a serial killer." he's now charged with attempted

a new warning about those very popular hoverboards. officials are now saying none of the hoverboards you see for sale...are certified as safe! they're now forcing manufacturers and retailers to meet safety standards, or face a recall. and some major retailers are responding! toys r us and amazon are offering full refunds, and overstock.com has stopped all sales. "it is irresponsible for a company to continue to sell hover boards that they know do not comply with the standard." the consumer product safety commission reports 52 hoverboard fires in over 24 states...totalling some 2-million dollars in damages. a mom from connecticut has a
