votes. marco rubio came in second. ted cruz was a close third, followed by ben carson with just about 5 percent. donald trump is still celebrating that big victory this morning.. last night he thanked everyone for their support. (sot trump) "we won with young, we won with old, we one with highly educated, we won with poorly educated. i love the poorly educated." people waited hours for trump to get to treasure island for his celebration speech. the billionaire went on to say that he believes he's going to keep gaining momentum as more candidates drop out. texas senator ted cruz ended up in third place... he was here in the valley when

nellis and flamingo cops lined all along the street we saw them bring out a stretcher for someone breaking overnight... metro's armor unit and firefighters were out for hours and hours investigating a suspicious device in north las vegas. officers tell us around 10 last night, an employee from union pacific railroad noticed an item that looked out of place and suspicious. armor task force came out to check out the scene near tropical parkway and lamb. after a few hours the item was determined to be non-hazardous. a bicycle rider is recovering this morning.. after being hit by a car.

eastern and fremont. metro says the bike rider was at fault, because they were not in a crosswalk and didn't have any lights or reflective gear. the rider was hurt, but is expected to be okay. metro has identified a suspect, and two "persons of interest" in connection to yesterday morning's murder near nellis airforce base. this is 21 year old colton brantano. he's the suspected killer. metro is calling jared busch and sherri esquibel, "persons of interest." police say around 2-30 yesterday morning, a man was shot & killed following a fight in the parking lot at the nellis suites. they believe this may have all been over drugs. scanner 5:15 saying they were held hostage in a vehicle... the victim still has a pulse, still breathing (butted with) 23:00 looks like we have 6 shell casings in the parking lot, looks to be a 9 with dark tinted windows and arizona license plate.. rme- 4708.

plane that went down in nepal. the flight lost contact over a mountainous region in nepal this morning. all 23 people on the plane were found dead. police are saying bad weather is to blame. it was only supposed to be a 19 minute flight, but they lost contact about eight minutes after takeoff. the travelers were heading to a popular trekking area in the himalayas. the british airways jet that caught fire on the runway last september is now being prepped to return to service. just before take off, the engine caught on fire. you can see the smoke and flames coming from the wings. all 170 people on board had to use the emergency slides to escape. reps from mccarrran say they haven't set an exact date for the plane to return to the air. chopper 13 found the

didn't take long for the men to get to her. 12:14:38 "they found me, put me down on the floor and held a gun to my head." when officers got there, the guys took off. eventually police tracked them down and arrested them. metro thinks they might be connected to other home invasions in the valley. metro is no longer investigating the death of a california woman found dead in a laundry chute at the d hotel. they say there's no evidence to suggest kalli medina brown was murdered. detectives believe the 26 year old fell from the 18th floor to the 3rd floor early sunday morning. the mystery around her death has been hard for loved ones to cope with. "in order to have closure for this situation, sleep a little better, something. we have to figure out who did this. we have to figure out what happened." in just about an hour. the man accused of opening fire on people near the strip, killing two women and critically injuring a man... is scheduled to make his first court appearance. omar talley is facing felony charges for firing a weapon, murder and attempted murder. police say security video shows talley fought with the three victims in the miracle mile shops parking garage... minutes before the shooting on harmon. talley admitted to being in the parking garage, but denied ever opening fire. a carson city man charged with bringing a 16 year old girl from las vegas to north dakota to be a prostitute will be spending the next 8 months in prison. on monday 19 year old kevin fleming pleaded guilty to felony human trafficking. tayari meadows, who's from las vegas, was also charged with human trafficking in the case. she pleaded guilty earlier and spent about eight months in prison. we're learning more about the

we're getting a look at surveillance images of the michigan shooting we're getting a look at surveillance images of the michigan shooting spree suspect. these images show jason dalton inside a gun store. this was taken just before the shootings in kalamazoo michigan on saturday. the images don't show him buying a gun...but they show him in the store in plainwell michigan...that's about 20 minutes north of kalamazoo. dalton is accused of killing six people on a shooting spree. a 14 year old girl is one of the few survivors. doctor's say the teenager's heart at one point stopped. "actually she squeezed my hand,
