congressional hispanic caucus- is set to endorse hillary clinton at a press conference at the democratic national committee's headquarters on this morning, it's another sign of the presidential front-runner's strength in washington and among hispanic leaders. the hispanic vote is expected to be important in the general election, particularly given republican front- runner donald trump's comments on immigration and building a wall on the border with mexico. i'll keep following this from the breaking news center... now let's get over to 13 weather first meteorologist greg bennett with a check on your weather.... high pressure is being tracked through the southwest but with a weak front gliding just to the north of clark county, a few clouds may build in throughout the day with a mild breeze. through the afternoon. high temperatures will range between 77 and 82 degrees with winds mainly holding between 5 and 10 mph. high pressure will take control of the valley once more and mostly sunny skies continue

police acuse the boyfriend of shooting at his girlfriends tires so she couldn't drive away and move out of the house. the girlfriend's mom told 21-year-old cody barnes it was a good idea to shoot. has been arrested for conspiracy. barnes is behind bars for attempted murder. this happened in parump friday afternoon. finnegan's younger daughter tells 13 action news her mom made a poor decision but it was with good intentions. a valley apartment complex goes up in flames for the second time this year. 13 action reporter yasmeen hassan is live near vegas valley and maryland parkway with the latest on the investigation. people living here - are living in fear. investigators say that homeless people are moving in - starting fires - and it's putting peoples lives in danger.

his top aides show they knew something was wrong with flint's lead- contaminated water as far back as october 2014. in the emails aides discussed switching the water supply back from the flint river just six months after they started using the river for drinking water. researchers later found elevated levels of lead that can cause neurological problems to children. investigators are looking into why the city didn't treat water...a requirement by federal law. a spokesman for the governor says the emails contain preliminary concerns before aides knew about the lead problem. everyone is still talking about the oscars this morning.

in just months. investigators tell 13 action news it was likely started by squatters again. people who live there say something needs to be done. i think it's a huge safety concern becuase theres a lot of ppl with kids here i worry about the fire aspect of it we fall asleep and we wake up and we trapped the fire started yesterday morning near vegas valley and maryland parkway. one man showed 13 action news the damage to his ceiling -- after he says squatters left the water running for day! neighbors say there are squatters living in the other buildings on the complex as well.
