traffic here was at a standstill for hours yesterday-- as they investigated the scene. the backup was miles down this road. officials say-- the truck was passing through a construction site-- where crews are expanding blue diamond road. but they say the dump truck driver started to experience brake problems-- he lost control of the truck-- and crashed into the couple driving inside the motorhome. 70s-- here from germany. troopers say the dump truck was carrying a load of concrete-- so thats potentially a lot of extra weight as the runaway truck was going down that hill. if you driving to and from pahrump this morning-- on your commute-- lanes are back open-- but there is still the construction. mk-- 13an. (chris williams /rescued from flooded house) "he told me he was getting a guy with a drone to bring a boat, and i'm kind there was a drone hovering right in front of me." both brothers say they are not only thankful to the man with the drone, who remains as well. a federal judge in florida is extending the deadline for voter registration for residents there. the order comes after state democrats sued republican governor rick scott for not extending the deadline due to hurricane matthew. the democrats say because of the evacuations many residents were prevented from registering. scott opposed the the extension saying people had enough time. however, the federal judge ruled in favor of the democrats, giving voters one more day until wednesday to register.
