"when i looked out the window you could see the flames, the whole first floor was engulfed," they immediately called 9-1-1. firefighters found the dog on top of his owner... who was unconcious. the woman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. but neighbors say the animal prevented the woman from being burned even more.
