midweek with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 by friday. have a great day! nevada senator debbie smith passed away after a long fight with brain cancer. she was 60 years old. she was a lifelong advocate for public education... serving as president of the nevada p-t-a, and as member of the national p-t-a board. she was elected to the nevada assembly in 2000, and the nevada senate in 2012. people who knew her say she'll be greatly missed. "she'll be missed in the fight for education dollars and capital construction. with the school board capital bond issue coming up, her voice will be missed." "she taught me a lot. how to be a better legislator, and ultimately, i think she set an

serve constituents. she was an amazing public servant." governor sandoval yesterday said, "we remember her legacy as a true nevadan with a fierce devotion to her constituents and state, particularly to public education and the children of nevada." he ordered all flags on state buildings to half-staff, until sunset on the day of her funeral. turning to campaign 2016... just ahead of tomorrow's republican caucus here in nevada... presidential hopefuls are making their way to the silver state. doctor ben carson held a rally at the atlantis resort yesterday. currently... the retired neurosurgeon is polling last here in nevada. carson will now hold a town hall meeting a the piper's opera house in virginia city this morning, starting at 9:30 a-m... doors open at 7-30. and florida senator marco rubio will hold three rallies in northern nevada today. he will be in elko at 9-30 a-m... at the peppermill in reno just after noon... and at minden park at 3-30 p-m.

a michigan man will be arraigned today over the seven-hour shooting spree saturday night that left six people dead and two others injured. authorities are working to piece together the timeline of the alleged killer... a 45-year-old uber driver... who reportedly picked up passengers in between the shootings. don champion has the latest from new york. jason brian dalton faces multiple murder and weapons charges connected to a deadly shooting rampage in kalamazoo. officials say the 45-year-old uber driver targeted his victims at random. mark dunton gets chills thinking about his encounter with the accused killer: "it's crazy to think that someone could have gone out and just done all these horrible things and came to work straight-faced -- like he's just coming to work dunton and his

spree and got nervous when dalton picked them up in a car that matched the one police were looking for.. my buddy scott actually said something to him said hey this isn't the hhr, you're not the guy are you? and he said no 53-year-old richard smith and his 17-year- old son tyler were killed car shopping at this dealership. barbara hawthorne was among those killed at this cracker barrel. when a tragedy like this strikes you never expect it to be this close at home the first victim in the shooting spree was a woman who was shot multiple times at an apartment complex. she is expected to survive. the sheriff says her quick actions saved the lives of several children including 12-year-old joi coleman: he shot her once, and she was still running, and then he shot her again, and she fell. and she was asking joi help me joi help me. dalton, a married father of two, had no prior criminal history.

thanks jeff. looking around the world now... and a series of blasts in syria killed nearly 130 people and wounded more than 170 others yesterday. in the syrian capital of damascus... several blasts during the afternoon rush hour killed 62 people. isis claimed responsibility for that attack, and another in the city of homs that killed 46 others. the blasts came as u-s secretary of state john kerry announced that a provisional agreement has been reached for a cease-fire... that could begin in the next few days. kerry had acknowledged that it is not finalized and all parties might not automatically comply. closer to home... it was a good weekend for the front-runners in the race for the white house. after donald trump's big win in saturday's south carolina primary, senators ted cruz and marco rubio are fighting for second place... as the republicans turn their attention

ipad online and we saw that the cash rewards for it weren't that high and we kind of set out to fix it." matthew starrett and eduardo morales are the founders of sell your used iphones dot com. their company pays people based on market value and condition of their phone. once they clear all data and refurbish the device, they sell it on their ebay store. what they and many other companies struggle with is trust, considering people mail them their iphone that is most likely worth hundreds of dollars, but certified apple technichan and ceo eduardo morales says when choosing what company to use, reviews mean everything. eduardo- "when you look at some of the big companies, if you ever look on reviews on them there is a lot of trust issues. there are some companies that people send in devices that are worth $200 and they get a check in the mail for $15". here are some examples of what
