this process is a little different from what we saw on saturday with the democrats. there wont be crowds of people migrating to different corners of the room based on their presidential preference. instead - the republican caucus is organized around a secret ballot where you put down your candidate. organizers theyre expecting the process to last no more than 30 minutes to an hour. take a listen to fred brown with clark county's republican party on the updates they've made to this year's caucus "here in clark county doors open at 5. you can cast your ballot and go or sit around, it's pretty simple. ted cruz... returning fire... in his ongoing war of words with donald trump. the texas senator has been taking been taking part in a campaign blitz of nevada... criss crossing the state since the weekend. fox five's cyndi lundeberg... joins is live from cruz headquarters - near valley view and meadow. i asked his campaign when be was expected to be here they said he has a lot of events beforehand so whenever he finishes up with those... now leading up to today's caucus his campaign spent about 800- thousand on advertising in nevada... here in nevada cruz has positioned himself as a staunch supporter of the second amendment... earlier this week donald trump went off on ted cruz... calling his

dishonest... cruz addressed those comments earlier.... during a campaign stop in fernley.... cruz continued to call out trump - calling him inconsistant - for changing his political views over the year. carson - also campaigning in las vegas before tonight's caucus. he discussed immigration - which remains a big topic in nevada. "you have to make sure there is no benefits for those who come illegally." leader warren jeffs. hundreds of law enforcement agents have been raiding businesses today - in the town of hildale, utah... near colorado city on the arizona border. the u-s attorney's office says leaders of the sect diverted funds from utah's nutrition assistance program for inappropriate use. tonight we learning more on how a sacramento woman's body ended up at the bottom of the d hotel's laundry chute. metro has ruled the death an accident - now the case turns to the coroner who is looking for the cause of death. young is in the newsroom and ophelia - the family has hired lawyers. those lawyers based right out of reno - i called them earlier this they couldn't say investigation they are conducting on their own. but the retention does beg the question of what there may be - mysteries still remaining about this death. on kalli medina browns facebook page - a picture

peace. loved ones are still asking how the 26 year olds body ended up at the bottom of a laundry chute at the d hotel in downtown las vegas. roraback: "we have to figure out who did this...we have to figure out what happened." those who claimed to be browns best friends spoke from sacramento - whats where friends say brown was visiting las vegas from to celebrate her 27th birthday with her husband. initially metro sent their homicide unit - but determined the death was an accident. that raises even more questions of how - according to metro - brown fell from the 18th to 3rd floor where hotel staff found her in the laundry collection area is at 2:30 in the morning- brown fell 15 stories. worell: "i just ask god that she didnt hurt that she wasn't scared or she didnt feel alone or helpless" the accidental ruling poses even more questions - how brown ended up in the chute to begin with. her long time friends say brown, a legal secretary was always the responsible one.

damage to a vehicle. one person pulled out a gun and fired shots. police say officers found a victim on the ground with gunshot wounds. he died during treatment at u-m- c. police are also looking for two people of interest. 21-year-old jared busch and 21- year-old sherri esquibel. "the individuals including what we believe is suspect at this point came to location and was looking for victim for debt im not sure why or what debt over could be narcotics..." police say brantano was driving a 1990s black volkswagen jetta -- with tinted windows... gold rims... and arizona license plates. anyone with information about this homicide should call police or crimestoppers 7-0-2-3-8-5-55-55.

rehearsal of "the beatles love". the production at the mirage had to be stopped - due to the injury - without resuming. a cirque representative says the performer was stable and taken to u-m-c. the company did not elaborate on the nature or the cause of the injury. the dress rehearsal was part of a revamping of "the beatles love" - ahead of its 10-th anniversary this summer. an updated production is set to debut thursday - but dress rehearsals were taking place ahead of it. tonight celine dion returns to perform at caesars palace for the first time since the death of her husband, rene angelil. more's sean mcallister joins us tonight with what to expect from the performance. international media outlets are in las vegas tonight to cover celine's return. starting at 7:30 tonight -- the begining of celine's show will be a 10 minute tribute to her late huisband and longtime manager, rene angelil. celine says that the video montage that her fans will see.. will be a walk down memory lane.

tonight as celine takes the stage. the tribute portion of her show will sent out via live stream on the headliner's web site celine dion dot com. i''m more's sean mcallister. fox5 news local las vegas. rene angelil died last month after a long battle with throat cancer. hundreds were able to get their pets spayed and neutered for free at the animal foundation. it's part of "world spay day". the animal foundation received a grant from the petco foundation to offer 400 spay and neuter surgeries at no cost. the non-profit says in under three hours -- all appointments were booked! their goal is to make sure all animals are healthy by the year 2020. "i think its important to note spay and neutering is key to preventing unnecessary deaths in animal shelter and preventing unwanted litters from coming to animal shelter in
