in national headlines this morning.. a school bus and commuter bus collide in a deadly crash in southwest baltimore. video from above the scene shows the front part of a yellow sch the side of a maryland transit administration bus. the driver's side of the m-t-a bus is ripped off with debris spilling down onto the road. police say 6 people were killed in the crash.. though no students were on the bus at the time. breaking overnight.. police are investigating a stabbing that sent one person to the hospital. it happened in an alleyway near charleston and 28-th.. after police say

a fight. the victim was stabbed one time.. and his condition is not known this morning. we will keep you updated online and on air as we learn more. halloween night took a scary turn for a group of trick or treaters. police say a gunman opened fire on them. it happened around 11 last night at carey and mount hood, near sunrise manor. police say a car pulled up to the kids and there was some sort of fight.. when someone inside the car started shooting. the 3 people who were hit were treated at the hospit expected to be okay. police are still looking for a suspect. exactly one week from today.. we're hiring a new president. and that means a lot of v-i-p -- very important politicians -- are visiting our battleground state. hillary clinton is scheduled to hold a rally in town tomorrow.. though details on when and where she'll be...have not yet been released. we know it will be open to the public.. as clinton makes a final push for early voting

kiddos can eat it all.. or you can participate in a candy buy-back program. our les krifaton is in studio with us this morning and has more on the program that involves dentists here and all over the country. the 2016 halloween candy buy-back program is something i'll need to be taking part in. last night i was handing out candy on a one to one basis, one for them and one for me. needless to say many o more candy in our homes this morning than we really really want. really really want. so it's the day after halloween and your kids are waking up to a stash of candy that you wouldn't even consider having in your home 364 days of the year. too much candy winds your kids up, it leads to obesity and tooth decay according to a program called operation gratitude launch. it's a halloween candy buy back

than "white- sounding" names. overall, black riders waited 30- percent longer for an uber ride to arrive. meanwhile, drivers also took female passengers for longer, more expensive rides. students who want to quit smoking can pledge to do so at u-n-l-v this month. the 'i quit for' campaigns kicks off on campus.. it's part of lung cancer awarness month. fox 5's mike doria joins us live from unlv to explain how the pledge works.. kicking off on november 1 - the first day of lung cancer awareness month - comprehensive cancer centers of nevada will provide four tobacco drop-off bins on the unlv campus. two of the bins will be located in the student union (on the first and second floors) and the remaining two will be stationed at
