northeast iowa. it will also be windy valentine's day. the snow should come to an end late sunday afternoon or early evening. stay tuned for updates. new this morning...police respond to a high school following a threat, now a student is facing charges. cedar rapids police responding to prairie high school yesterday after a threat was made by someone. affer further investigation, officers arrested a 16-year-old student who is now being charged with harrassment the student's name hasn't been released and officers didn't elaborate on what type of threat was made. deputies in iowa are asking for help identifying two suspects in a burglary. investigators say the two people in this surveillance video were involved in a burglary on january 30th. it happened in scott county. violence at a ppison in mexico left 52 inmates dead and injured

a mexican governor says no inmates escaped, but a fight broke out between two groups at the prison -- it didn't involve guns. relatives of inmates went to the prison, demanding information and shaking the gates. it's mexico's deadliest prison riot in years. a survivor of a nazi death camp comes face to face with a former guard charged with helping murder at least 170-thousand people. the survivor gave his testimony in court yesterday. he lost 35 family members during the holocaust. a new york city police officer was found guilty of manslaughter and official misconduct thursday. the officer was convicted in shooting and killing a man in a rk stairwell back in 20-14. he testified he didn't know anyone was in the stairway when he unintentionally fired his weapon. the officer faces up to 15 years in prison. one person was killed and others were innred after an tack at a restaurant in ohio. four people were taken to the hospital. police say the suspect had a machete before being shot and

to testify against him. camilll cosby is still subject totoa deposition, but a u-s district court in massachusetts ruled she won't have to testify against her husband. cosby's attorney called the decision "critically important." cleveland's mayor is apologizing to the family of tamir rice. this week, we learned the city was asking the family to pay for a 500-dollar ambulance ride given to the boy -- who died after being shot by police. his family slammed the city -- calling it insensitive. the city's finance director said the city never actually bill the family and has no plans to do so. decisson 2016...wall street, healthcare and national security. familiar topics take the center of the sixth democratic debate. bernie sanders hoping to build momtenum following his huge victory in new hampshire tuesday. hillary clnton working to reassure voters. here's what the candidates had to say about affordable health care... "he passed me by one day and said i'd like to have a chance to go out with you. i said ok." they got married on febuary 6th 1940. despite a rough wedding day... "i had the flu. i was sick" "it was not a good day... it was a and went to bed." the couple says it's been a wonderful 76 years.... "this is our daughter and our grandaughter, and our great grandaughter." filled with dancing. (nat) traveling "a lot of people were on the wall that day." and nicknames... that was the last time democrats will face eh other before the vada caucuses in a week. south carolina's primary is after that -- and then it's super tuesday on march first. continuing coverage. the standoff in oregn is over -- more than a month later. the last four activists surrendered yesterday. they were part of a group that took over a wildlife refuge in january -- upset over federal land policy. all four will be in court later right now, two officers are in the hooital after being shot during a car chase. it happened in georgia. an officer tried to pull over a car that didn't have a tag. the driver didn't stop. police say the driver then started shooting "currently, we believe that the officers that were injured as a are a lot of evidence that's got to be collected and processed."

expected to survive. thieves steal a car with a child inside -- twice in less than 24 hours -- near the same city. it happened this week near san diego. in one case, a woman ran into her apartment and left her five-month-old in the car. the car was gone when she came out. it was found abandoned an hour later -- with the baby still in checked into a hotel, but left her young son in the back seat. the toddler was found ok -- when the thief called police himself and confessed. now to a hige fire at a warehouse. the video shows how enormous this was. it shut down a major road in ne jersey. no one wawa hurt -- but wiwinesses say they've heard explosions that shook the ground. right now we're taking a closer look at it.

hillsborough, new jersey. we're taking another look at this warehouse fire at a different angle. at thii point, we're not sure if the fiie reignited or it's been story. 25 years ago this fall is a day many people in iowa city would like to forget. unfortunately, they're being reminded of it -- after a comment on social media that has the university of iowa investigating. the university won't say who wrote it. however, this student was recently expelled according to the daily iowan -- they claim he made a post referencing the 1991 campus shooting by chinese student, gang lu. he shot and killed four faculty members, one student - and seriously injured another student before taking his own life. we reached out to the school. they did not say why he is no longer a student, but

office tells us his visa was taken away. the sheriffs office tells us he had gun permits and they were in the iowa legislature -- the medicaid debate heats up. the democratic- led senate approves a bill to break up plans to privatize it. the bill would end iowa's contracts with threeprivate companies. three republican senators voted for it -- but the bill isn't expected to go far in the republican-led house. iowa lawmakers have yet to settle a debate about school funding... but they are considering anothhr expense for school districts... a bill would require an athletic trainer at every high school varsity level sporting event. the goal is to have someone on staff who can help diagnose and treat a student who suffers a concussion. school leaders say the proposed mandate should include the money to pay for it... something else, take away from something else. it's costing us between 5 - 7 thousand a year to have these people in place there are gonna be districts that
