breaking news overseas now. the aviation minster in nepal says crews found the wreckage of a plane that disappeared, the crashed over a mountainous area early this morning. that's according to the kathmandu post. none of the 23 people on board survived. the plane took off from the city of pokhara this morning. it

town of jomsom, which is just about a 20-minute flight. officials lost contact about eight minutes after takeoff. nepal dispatched an army helicopter and two private ones to search for the plane. today two elizabeth city teenagers are expected in court on murder charges. 17-year-old kamani ames and 18-year-old nahcier brunson are accused of murdering 17-year-old unique graham. in an exclusive interview i did with brunson, he told me right away he shot graham. he told me he was sorry -- but he also said he didn't want to get into why he shot him. "i mean he just kept playing with my face. i don't like being played with my face." lex: you killed unique graham because he touched your face and you didn't like it? :brunson: it was multiple times. and it wasn't just over that, it was just the fact that like i wasn't thinking correctly at the time, my actions did before my thoughts could

outages in the area. this morning emergency crews will be out to inspect just how much damage the storm did. speaking of damage - this is what the storm did in part of louisiana. this 18-wheeler tipped right into a ditch. emergency crews here in st. james parish say no one was hurt. however a possible tornado that hit the area killed one person in another part of the parish. the governors office of homeland security and emergency preparedness activated its crisis team to deal with other storm-related issues. plans to replenish beaches along the outer banks have hit a delay. officials with duck, kitty hawk, and kill devil hills rejected bids to rebuild the washed-out sand because even the lowest offer was about 5-million dollars over budget. the town only budgeted 43-point-5 million for the project. to bring the cost down, duck's town manager says the city had to give contractors more time. so now the city has to wait until december 20-17 to finish the project,

side. we're following breaking news in portsmouth. firefighters put out an overnight fire on mount vernon avenue. that's in the port norfolk neighborhood. it started around 3:15 this morning. 10 on your side's rico bush said a shed behind a home caught fire. crews quickly got the fire under control. there are no reports of injuries. investigators haven't said how the fire started. new this morning, a man is recovering in the hospital after police say someone shot him in portsmouth. it happened late last night on lexington drive. that's off deep creek boulevard. officers say the bullet hit the victim in his lower body. he should be okay. we're working to learn if police have any suspect information. call the crime line if you have any details. local retirees are angry after a city cut part of their benefits. 10 on your side investigates a medical coverage program that's no longer covered. plus new this morning, governor mccrory works to reverse a new law in

a new policy in 2015 meant retirees 65 and older had to get off the city's health care plan. with a new medicare supplement plan, employees received an annual h-r-a. it meant they had $1,400 dollars to spend on out of pocket expenses. after nine months of the program - the city said it would no longer fund the h-r-a. retirees are outraged - saying the plan has left them in a 10:29:47 - we were led to believe that we were going to receive this money. had we not, if it said one time thing, we would have made different choices. council members said at tuesday night's meeting, the h-r-a was part of a pilot program and was never meant to continue. the city manager said she will come up with a plan to phase the h-r-a out in he'll try to stop charlotte's controversial l-g-b-t bathroom ordinance from passing across north carolina. the move comes a day after city leaders made
