the victim was shot three times in the leg. he was taken to the hospital in serious condition. it is not clear what led to the shooting. investigators are looking into the blaze that killed several oakdale. officials say two horses, a lab, fire. no other injuries were report. the driver of a tractor-trailer is recovering after the vehicle overturned this morning iredell county. the incident happened i-77 northbound at mile marker 65 near highway 901. officials say the truck was carrying logs. part of the area was closed for a time, but it has reopened. no word on the cause or the condition of the driver. two local high school basketball teams have been banned for playing post season this year, north carolina hastthetic association says the two high schools are not allowed to compete in the playoffs after a
