as to why they were here and experiencing everything. one gentleman said he was here for his brother's 50 th birthday and he had to buy him a t-shirt. it is super expensive if you want to go to the game. ticket prices online ranging anywhere from 2,100 to $4,700, and you might not believe this, it's a little bit cheaper than ticket prices we saw earlier this week when they were in the 5,000 to $6,000 range. however, if you want the really good seats you're looking at spending more than $20,000, and if you want one of those luxury box seats, $175,000. but of course, you'll probably be rubbing elbows with some very important people having a ton of fun and of course you get free food. so $175,000 might be worth it for some folks. >> i wonder what the food is, it's got to be good, right? >> reporter: yeah, you would

and security is no game today in soccer, california, although new details being released we know the plan includes heavily armed military personnel officers with assault riffles, bomb sniffing dogs and combat helicopters overseeing it all. the enter the net will be monitored too. meanwhile the battle between carolina and denver will be decided in just a few hours but more political junkies the politics comes on tuesday with the new hampshire primary. . >> reporter: well, good morning and happy super sunday to one and all. just a handful of hours left until voters go to the policy and while the wbz poll taken this past week shows

solid double digit leads it shows a lot of fluidity. well, here to help us sort all this out is the dynamic duo of political analysts who will be joining us tuesday night at 7 for our continuous primary coverage, long time coverage charlie manning, and we're pleased to have with us former boston globe column in itses joanna weis. in the poll not only does sanders lead by 24 points he wins every demographic category including women by 7 points except for one category people earning more than $100,000 a year. what happened to hillary clinton? >> i think she's the same person she always has been and this is a year that's very difficult for

street. it's been working wonders for him and she doesn't have a good response. >> yeah, she's been through a number of that. >> especially with the issue of the speeches, that's something that's come up again and again. she earned money making speeches and also has gotten like a lot of politicians a lot of contributions from wall street. first she said, you know, i was protecting them after 9/11 i was respecting my constituents. recently she said well, that was what they were offering me for the speeches, that didn't work. at the debate this week she had a slightly better argument, i think. i mean she just kind of came back fighting and said look, show me a time when i ever changed my view because of that speech, the better argument. >> you always say everything is

understand that's true in thursday night answer debate, that's been consistent throughout but in the poll foreign affairs is almost dead last in terms of what issues democrats care about, just bad timing for her. >> it's all the economic issues. you know when you've had a two term president like we've had with president obama, people looking for change, you know, where we going? where is our country? how we going to change things up? it's why very few times the vice president ever gets elected only gorge hw bush has been able to pull that off. so hillary clinton is the establishment old time candidate and even though he's an older guy, bernie sanders is sort of the new cool thing and he has a new message for the democratic party and it feeds into what obama and senator warn had been
8:08 am
years that they got screwed, wall street is bad, evil, democratic voters have bought that and now bernie is using it and clinton is on the other side. >> we've got to break and get to the republicans, but some polls have shown him slipping a little, her gaining a little, everybody remembers 1992, clinton lost by 8 points but was labeled the come back kid and was perceived as a winner. any chance of her pulling off something like that? >> she's working really hard, maybe she'll cry, that helped her four years ago. >> 8. >> 8. >> yeah. >> she beat up palmer there which was a great win. >> the clintons have done really well up there. i would say it's not going to be a very good tuesday night for hillary. >> we'll be back in a moment and talk about the republican field as we head into the new hampshire primary. so please, stay with us. you know, luck doesn't play any role in slot machines. the odds of winning are the same

we're previewing the new hampshire primary. our guest analysts will be joining us for okay. in the amherst wbz poll donald trump leads by 19 points. 20 mother's of his supporters say they could change their mind overall 48% of republicans say they still haven't closed the deal. on -- and by bionearly a two to one margin voters are think marco rubio has a a better start with you this time, that you say matter? >> that's pretty solid for trump at about 50% of his voters going to stay because new hampshire is is famous for voters saying i saw him on sunday morning and then i saw him on monday and can change their mind. >> more like 80% of his voters. >> yeah, rubio is the wild card,
8:13 am
thing, he's running as a changed candidate, donald trump is popular, rubio is a changed candidate so you can see him moving maybe all the way up into second place >> some policy have him there already. we looking at potentially another iowa situation where the policy overstate trump's support? again we tape this, i want to let our viewers know before saturday night's debate so we don't have the benefit of that but the only debate that seemed to shake up the race was the one trump boycotted the final one in iowa. does any of this matter? >> i think the issue is how the other candidates positioning themselves in relation to trump in relation to each other and the interesting thing about rubio is that he appeal today conservatives really more than to moved ritz. whether rubio can, you you know, as the fresh
8:14 am
voters are when his positions more conservative than trump's is going to be an interesting question. >> he does best of all republicans among voters who describe themselves as religious. that's a big group in iowa not so much in new hampshire. different. you have a much higher level, you have a lot more catholics and of course rubio is catholic and cruz played much better in iowa >> all right. so i'm not going to drag into prediction on winners, we'll save that for 1:11 o'clock on tuesday night, but who's out? >> i would say if casic doesn't go big and look really strong it's probably the end of the road for him. >> how about bush? >> i think bush hangs in, he has the resources to do it i think christie he is running out of money and staking his game in new hampshire and if he doesn't move up it's going to be tough

could show it all to you. hillary clinton made a cameo on snl earlier this season. >> it's amazing how much they look and sound alike. >> it is. they can kind of make fun of each other. well, we have an interesting forecast. today is going to be very mild. we'll have more melting snow and lots of sunshine perfect for any travel to any of those super bowl parties you might be going to but then monday tuesday, things change. we have a couple storms that we're watching. it's really monday into tuesday morning that we're worried about, the concerns snowfall, heavy snow at times wind and coastal flooding with this storm. not a direct hit by this particular storm, but the latest models have increased our snow potential for a few reasons, and i'll get to those in in just a minute. temperatures running right now in the 30s, 20s or
8:17 am
30 degrees in boston, 24 taunton, a pretty typical start to the day. highs today right around average, 40 degrees in boston, with full sunshine tonight the clouds increase ahead of our system and temperatures will be right around freezing. this is key to what we're going to experience first thing in the morning. two systems here, that first one to our south, that second one to our west and it's this first one that's going to impact us for monday. hour by hour timing 6 p.m. the clouds increase from south to north here. might squeeze out a flier pre but on the cape and islands you're starting to see a wintry mix changing to wet snow. 9 a.m. the snow spreads into the boston area and by noon the heavier bands developing ocean enhanced snow bands, that will help to set down quick accumulation, low visibility, and even the potential for some gusty winds within the heavier snow squalls. 5 p.m. the evening commute

accumulation and additional snow fall. steady to moderate snow monday night into tuesday morning. the second system will also help to push in some lingering snow showers but not as big of a deal as we will have monday into tuesday morning. so the winter storm watch is in event for that coastal storm that's going to push off to sea. close enough to us we see the enhancement and 3 to 6 inches of snowfall tuesday morning into boston, 1 to 3 inches north to west and a bulls eye of 6 to 8. now, those numbers could be tweaked just a little bit depending on what happens with the latest forecast information tonight. stay tuned. coastal flood watch goes into effect monday afternoon, and the wind will be very strong at that time too helping to push up some that have water, gusts monday afternoon between 45 and up to 55 miles per hour. so power
