4:32 am
heading into the road, not widespread heavy rainfall for the roads. not a lot of accumulation, as it will be on the warm side. the visibility is coming down. that will make for hazardous travel this morning. the snow is falling. here at the nbc 10 studios. we've seen aç steady snow in t last hour. but accumulation, not happening. the temperatures are still too warm. north and west, it's starting to cool down already. but this is where we're seeing lighter snow for reading into limerick, westchester, seeing steady but very light snowfall. tinnicum township. heavier snowfall in the i-95 corridor for wilmington, philadelphia and trenton could lead to some slippery roads this morning. for bucks, montgomery and mercer counties, the farther north and west you do, the less snow you'll see. it will be a snowy commute nonetheless. heaviest snow between 5:00 and 8:00, wrapping up between :00
4:33 am
a -- 9:00 and 11:00. lower bucks county and portions of mercer county, closer to the delaware for bensalem and trenton. heavier snowfall lasting a little bit longer. a bit more accumulation. most of that accumulation will come on colder surfaces, grassy surfaces. some sidewalks will get more than the roads will as the roads are still warm. 35 degrees in philadelphia. north and west into chester county, it's getting colder. westchester at 33 degrees. 32 in chadds ford and one degree above freezing for tredyfern township. hour by hour forecast at 7:00 this morning, that is steady snow in delaware and new jersey, starting to taper off for those areas north and west. stand by for a snowy scene this morning. snow and 33 degrees in philadelphia at 6:00. by 9:00, it will still be above freezing. this will limit accumulation on the roads. by lunch time, it's out of here
