mountains and it's a live, cold-looking view, just below freezing in mount pocono, 30 degrees and 40s in philadelphia and that's where we'll be for most of the day and a breezy day, with the wind blowing it feels colder. clouds and dry during the day. we could see scattered showers this evening. police in chester say that they're -- they were involved in an overnight shooting after chasing an suv. one man is dead and a second man shot in the ankle is expected to survive. investigators remain on the scene along keystone road. an attempted robbery led to a shooting that left a man in critical condition. they shot the victim once in the head and this is in west philadelphia. it happened late last night. no arrests have been made. former philadelphia police commissioner charles ramsey will start his new job as a consultant for the city of wilmington. ramsey will help the city with

its gun violence problem. >> three boys are recovering from hypothermia after falling through thin ice and this happened yesterday in buck's county. colin orr was one of the boys who needed rescuing near piper's place. the boys were walking on a president toen pond when suddenly the ice cracked under their weight and all three boys fell in. several neighbors came to the rescue and they used a long branch to pull one boy to safety and a rescue boat picked up the others and all three boys are in the hospital. i'm vai sikahema, we'll have more news in 30 minutes and get the latest news and weather on the nbc 10 app.
