south carolina is the next big primary, set for february 20th. tomorrow night the republican presidential candidates face off there in a debate.and still to come in our next half hour, politifact puts the democrats to the test.see how truthful their claims were in last night's debate. a man accused of threatening students and staff at the st joseph orphanage altercrest campus in anderson township will face a judge in a few hours. hours.police say 18-year-old jaylin bankhead threatened to bring a gun to school and shoot people on wednesday. the school's website says altercrest provides students grades 6th through 12th with mental health services and other educational support. it's not clear if bankhead is a student there. this morning - dayton police hope they can track down why a middletown mom drove to an apartment complex with her baby before she was shot and killed. killed.they say they're looking through brittany russell's phone and have interviewed several people already.russell didn't have custody of her six-month-old daughter haven but was visiting her tuesday when she left with the baby.a building manager found her later in

inside their harrison home. they're charged with manufacturing and possession. an update now to a story we reported yesterday on good morning tri-state.the city of cleveland is no longer billing the family of tamir rice ... for the use of an ambulance after police shot him.the 12 year old was killed in november 20-14.recently the city sent rice's mother a 500 dollar bill for the ambulance used to take rice to the hospital.city officials now say that was a mistake, because medicaid reimbursed the city for the bill and the file was closed. a tri-state woman says her ex- boyfriend broke through her window... threw her against the wall... then lit her clothes on fire while trying to torch her 'price hill' apartment. jerome brown is being held at the hamilton county justice center. early sunday morning -- brandy chivers says brown broke into her apartment, threatening to kill her. she says brown shattered her cell phone... then punched and used a hammer to hit through the walls. chivers ran outside... turned around and saw her

the family of a chillicothe man is thanking a good samaritan for saving his life. jessica farley was on her way home when she spotted a car off the side of the road.the mother of four took her son's baseball bat and broke the car's window to get to charlie cottrill... who passed out behind the wheel.she gave him c-p-r and month to mouth while waiting for the ambulance. i just wanted him to know that i would pray for him because i didn't know if he was going to live or die... he was in bad shape when he left. cottrill was taken to the ohio state university medical center... where doctors treated his carbon monoxide poisoning with a hyperbaric chamber.he's doing better this
