street were hoping for.at first it was thought maybe the man who lived here wasn't inside.. but ended up being discovered in the kitchen. but it took more than an hour of fighting the flames here on timbermill court before firefighters were able to make their way inside found that 60-year-old victim who neighbors affectionately called santa for his white beard.neighbors.. police and then firefighters all tried to get to him.. but say the fire's head start and the large amount of stuff inside made it difficult. firefighters believe it would have been too late to save him even if they had made it inside sooner.crews also had a report someone else was inside.. but say they didn't find anyone.the battle left one firefighter injured. we're told he slipped and hurt his ankle.the cold and snow also made it difficult for crews to get the water they needed to put out the fire. chief robert leininger springfield township fire department13:58 we were delayed slightly getting water. we had problems with a fire hydrant. we had to bring additional water in from the adjacent street about 300 feet away. we attempted to make quick entry but there was a
