a restricted area of the hotel he was staying in.he was convicted *and sentenced in a trial lasting just one hour. warmbier was arrested in early january as he tried to leave the country after visiting as a tourist with a new year's tour group. breaking news now as efforts to recover a car that drove off a bridge over the ohio river have been suspended.this is exclusive video from chopper 9.. the only local helicopter bringing you breaking news first.. of the 12 car crash that caused that car to go off the combs-hehl bridge on i-275. at this stage...officials are still not sure how many people were inside.jordan burgess is live with what it will take to figure that out. you can see how dark it is out here.. so those rescuers have decided to stop their recovery efforts for now.but out there under the water... and in the middle of the river here not far from the bridge is where searchers say that car is right now.but they haven't
this is another look at the chopper nine footage of that crash that led to all this here on the combs-hehl bridge on i-275.campbell county's police chief says this was a 12 car crash that involved 4 different collisions.at some point.. it's unknown exactly how.. a car went over the east bound side of the bridge... and floated a short distance before falling to the bottom of the river.crews used sonar technology to locate the vehicle... and worked for hours to figure out if anyone was inside... before stopping those efforts a few hours ago. we asked them about what it will take to recover that vehicle and anyone who was in it. they'll make an assessment based on the vehicle itself. first identify if there are victims in the vehicle and then they'll make an assessment whether it's best to extract any persons that

this could be a game changer in the ongoing struggle against heroin addiction in the tri-state. the grant county health department is launching a needle exchange program, the first in northern kentucky. 9 on your side's kristen swilley has more on how you or your loved ones can get medical attention and clean needles- you need. as if the danger of heroin itself weren't enough, we know that addicts share needles and when they do they share diseases...including hepatits c...starting today, health officials hope to reverse that trend one needle at a time. they were surprised years ago to discover hepatitis c cases
times the national rate. now the director of clinical services, jennifer hunter, believes if she can't get people off heroin, she can try and keep them safe...and it's why she launched the area's first needle exchange program. it begins this afternoon here in williamstown at the grant county health department. you don't have to be from kentucky or give your name to get fresh needles. hunter says she realizes the program may not be popular at first.
