first on 11 at 11... an absolutely heartwrenching story tonight.a warren county mother is charged in the death of her four year old step son. police say anna ritchie put austin cooper's legs in scalding hot water last night as punishment. he wasn't breathing when franklin firefighters found him this morning. ritchie is charged with child endangering... and is being held on 100-thousand dollars bond in the warren county jail. an autopsy will be conducted to determine how the boy died. also new on 11 at 11.... a teenager's life cut short. police tell us by her boyfriend.. who is more than twice the her age. "we're sorry hailey. we're sorry we weren't there to help you." 16 year old hailey hall was beaten so severely she went into a coma. now...those who loved her are trying to build something worthwhile from her passing. nine on your side's roseann

where hall went to school. hailey hall was a sophomore here and had been coming here since the 7th grade - alongside her older sister mackenzie. tonight i spoke with mckenzie's foster mom who knew hailey and the family for years."no child on this earth deserves to have that happen to them."16-year-old hailey hall--a girl many say was full of life...full of love. "she was such a beautiful girl. she was so bright and so smart" crystal prather is a close family friend who would eventually foster hailey's older sister mackenzie."she absolutely loved mackenzie and mackenzie absolutely loved her."a sister who will now have to live without her best friend. on february 29th police found hall barely alive at the hospital-- she was in a coma and needed several brain surgeries-- police say the man who beat her was 34-year-old william arnold. now charged
