they heard squealing tires, then they saw the car floating in the water. >> he was very, very scared and taking in water. she figured that was it. i saw it in her ice. reporter: dan frasier had moments to act. he and others jumped into the water to save the woman trapped in the sink car. >> i saw woman, in a car, going down, and somebody had to help [yelling] reporter: the car sinks rapidly. it is 0-feet deep where it is going down. at one point, they fear the worst. >> i lost her. i lost her. >> just one person in there? reporter: just then, the 68-year-old woman ememorials.

neighbors feared he would offend again. he moved to a shelter in he moved to a shelter in boston, where he was arrested a fugitive from justice charge coming out of rhode island. no other details on that case tonight, but we're told gardner is due in a boston courtroom on monday. ben: also breaking, we now know that the person killed in this crash in hyde park earlier today was a high school student. a white sedan, ending up on its side on american legion highway this afternoon. one person was killed. boston public schools confirmg student at boston community leadership academy in hyde park. police are investigating the cause of the crash. jc: a walk for peace in east boston tonight. the community turning out to support two wounded police officers and each other. those officers are recovering tonight after they were shot responding to a domestic call wednesday night. right now our nichole berlie lis live in east boston. >> about 300 people came out this evening to show their support for the community, but

boston police removed at least 8 bags of evidence from the home on gladstone street. even though the shooter is already dead, prosecutors say more criminal charges may be filed. as of noon tomorrow, samsung galaxy note 7 phones will be banned from all airline flights. the ban follows nearly 100 cases of note 7s catching fire. samsung is no longer manufacturing the phones. now they are deemed too dangerous to take aboard a plane. passengers trying to take note 7s aboard a flight may be forced to give the phones up to security or face fines. some airlines are being stocked with special fire-containment bags that can be used to smother phones and other devices that catch fire. taking a live look at the city of boston on a friday night some spots in the state could fall below freezing tonight. >> what you cannot tell is how chill let us. >> meteorologist: is chilly. it is actually cold in many areas. look behind us. 30's. they are popping up already. >> ok. the night is not over yet. all right.

accepting for man described as serial kidnappers. captured on surveillance camera, but still on the loose tonight. investigators say he abducted a six-year-old girl in ohio last may. and tried to grab another child. fbi and ohio investigators are racing to find this man described as a serial kidnapper, preying on young children. you can see him here in an alley, wearing a cap and a hooded sweatshirt. allegedly casing a home. police say he then snatched a six-year-old girl from her cleveland house in the middle of the night. attacking her, and dropping her off 17 hours later in a different neighborhood. her parents, demanding justice. >> he just walks in there, unknowing about anything and is just willing to take someone's kid. >> investigators believe the suspect was driving this chevy malibu, with a mismatched front panel. the same suspect, police say,
