right now on "eyewitness news" this morning, we are following breaking news, orange county deputies say one man is dead and two others in a local hospital following a shooting outside of a gentlemen's club. good morning, it is sunday, march 20th, i'm darlene jones, time now, 7:00, we'll have more on the top stories in a minute, but first, a live look outside

where clouds continue to linger in the area. meteorologist marina jurica is in severe weather center 9 tracks showers. already out there this morning. >> that's right, we have been tracking showers since 3:00 this morning. we are continuing to see the rain, especially throughout marion, sumter, as well as lake, orange, seminole and volusia county as you head further south, it has been isolated, northern county picking up on a decent amount of rain over the last few hours from deland, i4 corridor, we have heavier rain heading out towards the west. bushnel, seeing steady rain. as you head into polk, osceola, brevard county, it is isolated. mild weather is not going to last. it will only be today, upper 70s, low 80s before our temperatures crash. i'll let you know how much

>> orange county deputies say one man is dead and two others in a local hospital following a shooting outside of a gentlemen's club. it happened at the diamond club on north semoran boulevard east of colonial drive. julie is live there this morning. deputies say several motorcycle groups may be involved in this. and this morning, i asked deputies to elaborate on what they meant by motorcycle groups. at this point, they tell me they cannot. if you take a look behind me. they have been out here for more than six hours, a section of envelope is reduced to one lane of traffic because deputies are working this investigation. now, 40 minutes after midnight. deputies got a call about shots fired in the parking lot of the diamond club. deputies found three men with gunshot wounds, one was pronounced dead on the scene, two others taken to the medical

one stable the other critical. all three victims are males. they are not releasing any names until families are notified. investigators say three motorcycle groups may have been involved in the fight. traffic is reduced to one lane on this section of semoran between the 408 and colonial drive. if you are in this area, use caution. reporting live in orange county -- "eyewitness news" this morning. >> >> this isn't the first time we have told you about a shooting near the diamond club. in january, orange county deputies a man told them he was shot in a torso near the club. he drove himself to a nearby business and later died at a local hospital. >> >> we know the name of the 15- year-old murdered in apopka. investigators are not releasing the suspect's name because they have not notified his family. we were there when

good morning, i'm meteorologist marina jurica. here on a rainy sunday morning at 7:14. grab the umbrella if you are going to be out for the next couple of hours because we'll see rain off and on. taking a look at early doppler radar 9, you can see rain has filtered into our northern and three hours. we have picked up on a half inch of rain. so, a good amount of rainfall staying north and we will continue to see a chance for the showers for the next couple of hours. heaviest of rain is staying to our north, northeast, right now, so southern flagler, into volusia and then portions of lake county. we have a cell that is a little heavier moving off shore, so, i95. moving west from mims from west

same situation here in southern flagler, south of are binnell and we continue to see heavier rain there. broader perspective -- lake county, heavier rain in bellview and the villages. heavier rain to the north of granville. that's where the heaviest rain is, right now, we'll see the pockets for the next two hours, due to the cold front finally making its way into florida. it will, eventually take 12 hours to clear our area, today, with the clearing, we'll be looking at much cooler weather behind it. we are in the 60s, a mild start. if you enjoy the milder weather, get out there and enjoy it because it won't last. after we see the front pass, we will be looking at clearing skies and much cooler weather

there is a new push in day d -- investigators hope it will >> >> eustis police say it didn't take them long to catch four suspects accused of robbing a man at a wells fargo atm a victim was trying to make a deposit at the bank along rowe street. two of the suspects put a gun to his head, demanded money and took off. police caught the suspects, their vehicle >> in a week, semoran county residents will see construction at cranes roost park. construction is expected to start and the road will be limited to residents of the loft apartment complex. improvements are happening on schedule. earlier this week, some of the new board walks there reopened. >>

"breaking news" right now, orange county deputies believe in several motorcycle groups may be involved in a shooting that killed one man, and sent them to others to a local hospital it is sunday, march 20, time now 7:30 a.m., that's get you outside to a live look over orlando this morning. meteorologist, marina jurica is in severe weather 9 we are looking at rain pushing through right now. we are seeing rain that is heavy, and in many areas, counties. we have seen up 2.5 inches of rain already in this region. you can see the back edge of gulf. golf. we have another hour-1.5 hours. a lot better. and then we will see some isolated action as we head into the rest of the day. from daytona beach through new

through i-4 through deltona, apopka, and northern orange, now moving into seminole county you can see some of that heavier rain, as well. we have heavier pockets and northern brevard county, around mems, and that southern flagler, south of pinal, and you can see a lot of heavier rain moving out of marion, and sumter county. we continue to follow a "breaking news" this morning, orange county's deputies say several motorcycle groups may be involved in a shooting that left one man dead, and two others injured. it happened just before 1 o'clock, this morning, at the diamond club on north cimmaron boulevard south of east colonial drive. eyewitness this morning's julie salamone has been at the scene all morning long. have you learned any new information about the victims who were injured? >>reporter:right now, the sheriff's office is telling us two victims were taken to the hospital, one in stable condition, the other in critical condition. investigators have been out here for more than 6.5 hours. you can see several units are

flashing lights. traffic on this section of cimmaron boulevard, is reduced now to one lane between the 408 and colonial drive. that section of cimmaron boulevard, orange county deputies got the call about 40 minutes after midnight about shots fired in the parking lot of diamond club. deputies found three victims with gunshot winds, one was pronounced dead, at the scene, two others were taken to orlando regional medical center. one is in critical condition, the other stable. all three of the victims are males, we -- they have not released their names at this point. they are waiting to notify families. at least three motorcycle groups may have been involved in the fight, and ultimately it let up to the shooting. the sheriff's office, at this point, is not elaborating on what they mean by motorcycle groups. this is a story we will continue to follow throughout the morning, again, traffic is moving slower on this section of cimmaron boulevard.

live in orange county, julie, eyewitness this morning. the man accused of shooting an innocent bystander, as he tried to shoot his ex- girlfriend, will remain in jail on the bond. the man you see here faced a judge yesterday. on friday, orange county deputies that he tried to shoot his ex-girlfriend at the magnolia court apartment complex on forrest city road. he missed, and instead shot a man working on offense. ward told the judge, the charges against him are all false. >> there is one counts, it's not two counts. i was here for domestic violence charge, not this. this charge is under investigation. violence. >> the man who was shot, remains in critical condition. right now, orlando police are responsible for a shooting joshua bell was shot yesterday morning at the palm grove gardens apartment complex.

out it all unfolded right in front of children playing on a nearby playground. >>reporter:neighbors at these pine hills apartments tell me they have always been comfortable letting their children play outside, but tonight, they are worried about a gun man on the loose who was bold enough to open fire right in front of them show my kids are out playing, like it was kids out here, i don't understand why anybody would come over here, in broad daylight, or anything, to shoot anybody. >>reporter:that neighbor was scared to go on camera, she told me she did not understand how the man across the parking lot ended up in the hospital. >> he came out to smoking cigarettes, go back in the house, i don't understand who would do anything to him. >>reporter:neighbors told eyewitness this morning, things did not look good as first responders rushed to save the man that appeared to be unconscious.

, that was out here, saw the police doing cpr. >>reporter:crime scene investigators spent the afternoon photographing the upstairs landing outside of the apartment. we spotted his shoes laying outside the door where he was shot. witnesses described the shooter's car as being a burgundy chevrolet impala with dark tinted windows. >> he needs to be caught >>reporter:field sutton, eyewitness this morning. orlando police believe the victim was targeted, crime line is offering a 1000-dollar reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. two men were arrested for stealing a volusia county lifeguards jetski, or out of jail. beef-- james duffy, and andrew gentry took the jetski when the lifeguard left behind because of medical issues. they rode it around until they were finally caught. they are both facing grand theft charges the new police chief for the city of mascot is expected to be sworn in tomorrow. eric peterson is expected to take his oath of office during the city council meeting. the retired lieutenant from the orlando police department accepted the position last week. the previous police chief resigned last december, following complaints from

were okay -- he was overbearing and mistreated the employees. volusia county parking meters may soon be added are two attractions in daytona beach , the county council may add the meters to the parking lots at son splash park. councilmembers say people are using the meters, but they are not visiting the attractions and they are taking advantage of the free parking spaces. prices may range from two dollars an hour to $20 for the day. tomorrow, the mayor of alto mont springs is expected to unveil the city's new up to promote its partnership with the ridesharing service uber. it created a one-year pilot program to determine the impact the apple have on traffic and transportation. they will pay 20% of a ride that starts in and within the city limits. and pay 25% of a ride that starts in and that the city rail station.

net -- nine cuban migrants died off the coast of florida. the us coast guard says there but was found by a royal caribbean cruise ship. the migrants were dehydrated, and said they had been at sea for 22 days. they were picked up by the cruise ship off the coast of marco island in southwest florida, taken to a port of call in cozumel, mexico. on tuesday, a rocket is scheduled to blast off from cape canaveral air force station. it's part of a resupply station to the international space station. the cigna spacecraft is packed with nearly 8000 pounds of supply and it -- supplies and experiments. one of those experiments was built, right here at the university of central florida. these photos you see here show researchers working on the experiment. it will study the properties of soil found on asteroids, comets, at the moon. the launch is scheduled to open at 11:05 p.m. and if i want lodges you can watch it live on eyewitness

today. we are seeing our first day of spring start out on a wet no. anywhere from about a trace at oia, to almost an inch in satellite beach, over 2 inches in palm bay, locke mark almost 2.5. and today, let's put our future rain tracker 9 emotion. we can see, through the rainfall today, we could pick up to a quarter inch of new rainfall as we headed to the next few hours. t h ree hours. we picked up already on a half inch for many of our northern locations this morning since about 3 a.m. i am tracking when that rain will get out of here and how cold those temperatures will get later tonight. coming up. several new fire stations are planned for a storage c ounty. county leaders are not determined the exact locations but one is expected to be built the intersection of dean road -- county commissioners have selected a company to begin to -- designing the project. mayor teresa jacobs wants $80 million to fund it.

bit of heavier rain, tangerine into portions of northern orange county. around lockhart into altamonte springs this morning, just north of winter park we've got some heavier rain. i am hoping we can get a little bit of a better day for the winter park sidewalk art festival today. we should see some much better weather post 10 a.m. and i think the festival kicks off at 9 a.m. today. the cold front is taking its sweet time to roll into our neck of the woods, as it does so, we will call cool down substantially as we head into tonight. we are all in the 60s right now, a 20-degree temperature drop as we head into tomorrow morning. future track 9, as we headed to this morning, showing that we will eventually loosen everything up by 10 a.m. and we are mainly dry. then, as the cold front gets a little closer, as we head into the afternoon we will start to see some very spotty, isolated showers, mainly along the coastline as we head into this evening. this front will clear, and as it does so it will be bringing in a very cold invasion of air, so if you like the cooler

outside to get a live look over downtown orlando this morning. the clouds are hovering over, it is hazy and gloomy to start the day, meteorologist, marina jurica has been tracking the rain all morning we are about to see some heavier rain push into downtown orlando in the next 15 minutes. early warning doppler 9 has held the rain to our northern counties for the last five hours. we are about to see heavier rain, as you can see, and volusia as well as lake, and northern orange and northern brevard. got a heavy spot in oviedo right now from white landing heading down for 17 to bertha that is where we are seeing the heaviest of rains to the east of winter springs. we've got some heavier patches of rain from mount dora heading down into apopka. a heavier batch of rain about to push into downtown orlando. 60s right now, upper 70s to low '80s today for that big coal front roster later today. i will let you know how that will affect our next -- i

orange county deputy say one man is dead and two others are in a local hospital following a shooting outside a gentlemen's club. there has been a large crime scene there for hours now. north of cimmaron boulevard north of colonial drive has been shut down to one lane for more than seven hours following the shooting at the diamond club. eyewitness this morning's julie solomont has been talking to deputies on the scene. deputies say several motorcycle groups may be involved? >>reporter: i asked them to elaborate on what they meant by motorcycle groups, but at this point, they told me they cannot offer me any additional details. if you take a look behind me, deputies have been out here for more than seven hours now. you can see several units out here with the flashing lights. this section of cimmaron boulevard, the traffic here is reduced to one lane. this is happening between the 408 a colonial drive. that section of cimmaron boulevard. deputies set about 40 minutes after midnight, they got a call about shots fired in the parking lot of diamond

im meteorologist, marina jurica, early warning doppler 9 has had a stacking shower since about 2 o'clock this morning. we have seen some rain pushed through, especially our northern counties but we are at the tail of -- and of it. here the next 30-60 minutes we will let go of it. you are seeing some heavier rainfall, moving it back out towards the west, we are getting that tail and, that backline living out, which is great from bushnell, leesburg, down into claremont we are seeing heavier rain just about to push into downtown orlando as well. the heaviest patches are from astro farms right along the i-4 corridor towards orange city and deltona. heavier rain to the north of downtown orlando right now but we will be tracking heavier rain in downtown in about 15 minutes. the cold front that is taking his return to push through the area, as a progressively precious or as we had
