>> this is 7news now. >> christa: good morning. it's a busy wednesday. we're getting started on "today in new england." ism we have several breaking news stories we're following. a police chase leading to a crash in abington. right now part of route 28 is closed while police investigate. it started in weymouth. two people will be facing charges. >> christa: we have breaking news in fitchburg where investigators are on the scene of a deadly fire. one person was killed. two others were pulled out of the house. now they're in the hospital this morning. >> sarah: breaking overnight, a flight from boston to san diego diverted to denver. passenger became disruptive and threatened the flight crew. he was taken off the plane and arrested. >> christa: quite a night for donald trump and bernie sanders, each winning their party's new

one of the big surprises of the night, second place, john kasich. that's who it goes to. now it's on to south carolina. we'll let you know if the candidates have in store for today. >> sarah: send it over the chris lambert for a check of your forecast. >> chris: good morning, everyone. temperatures down in the teens. 25 in the city of boston. we have fresh snowpack in place. not much of a wind. wnd-chill factors running into the teens and lower 20s, as well. radar right now across much of eastern mass quiet. but we are picking up light snow here down through western connecticut and some pockets of moderate snow working in across upstate new york. that will work into the berkshires. not expecting a long duration event out of this, but we do expect occasionally some snow showers and a couple snow squalls to roll on through as we have a little moisture breaking out through connecticut that will have to swing on through southern new england. also more energy to the west that has to swing on this afternoon, too. so a couple snow showers this morning, better chance of some heavier squalls developing as

once in a while in some of these darker blues showing up, it's almost like in the springtime or the summertime where you get these dry stretches. for 30 minutes or, so you get a burst of moderate-to-heavy rain. that will be the case this afternoon, except instead of rain we'll be dealing with some snow coming on through. once in a while that could reduce the visibility and give you a coaching to an inch of snow. tomorrow the same case. maybe not quite as unstable or as much moisture around, but i wouldn't be surprised to see a couple snow showers around tomorrow. again generally speaking, about a coating to an inch for many towns. there could be a couple towns especially in the higher terrain that get an inch and a half or perhaps two inches of snow, but overall i do expect some dry hours throughout the day. high temperatures topping off into the lower to middle 30s. more on forecast as "today in new england" starts right now. >> christa: we have breaking news first up at 5:00 a.m. fierce flames tearing through a home in fitchburg killing one person and trapping other people
