they say he drove up... and shot hugo salinas... then shot himself. both men were sent to des moines hospitals to recover. yesterday castaneda was released from the hospital and taken into custody. he now faces attempted murder charges. salinas remains hospitalized. his condition is not being released. a knoxville nurse's aid is falling under public scrutiny this morning... 16:52:41 'thats just sad that you know people would do something like that, especially to older people.' 42 year old wanda sue vanwhk is being accused of stealing from a resident at the west ridge nursing home in knoxville.police say she took a credit card and cash from an 80-year-old woman. they were tipped off when the woman's family filed a complaint that she was short 300 dollars. investigators later found vanwyke's charges totaled over 12-hundred dollars. she is now facing several charges, including ongoing criminal conduct, dependent adult abuse, and theft.

these are the countries that the zika virus has been confirmed. as you can see it mostly south america but cases have also been confirmed. the part that has caught the attention of many officials is this map. you can see here that of the 9 states so far have travelers that have got the virus... 3 of those states border iowa. i went to polk county health department yesterday and talked to them about their education process on the zika virus. they tolthat they are allocating extra resources to educate as many before they leave. they work on things basic education of the virus. like spotting the symptoms and prevention. they say they see clients everyday who have questions. for the most part,... those clients are familiar with the risks for pregnant women but the biggest areas to teach travels in polk county is the virus. 'so we have seen, that zika can be transmitted when you have sex. so if your partner, if you are a male and having sex with a woman, you should use protection. because it can be transferred that way. for example, if

josh- from the people i talked to no. nola aigner with polk co said they have not heard of any cancellations of plan. i also made a call to couple travels agents and they told me they people are still excited to travel. iowa mothers are getting a break balancing work and parenting this morning... the state's board of law examiners has decided to change its bar exam test to help out breast-feeding mothers. the two-day test typically only allows a short lunch break between three hour sessions... now, the board has decided to extend that for mothers. the change came about after an inquiry from the national aclu. today state lawmakers are faced with deciding what will stay and what will go... i'm absolutely confident the chairs are bringing forward a really good group of bills. i'm looking forward to when they complete their work, going through and figuring out exactly what each of those bills is.
