trying to close the
double-digit gap with hillary clinton. "we came to south carolina and if you look at the polls we were like 7, 8, 9 percent in the polls. we were 50, 60, 70 points behind. we have waged a very vigorous campaign. we have picked up a lot of support. when we started this campaign, essentially it was believed by most that secretary clinton was the inevitable candidate. she is not the inevitable candidate now. we've got a real shot to win it." sanders' spokesperson says they are not scaling back in the palmetto state. we're told they still have 200 paid staffers and 10 field offices statewide. hillary clinton picked up a endorsement earlier today. senate minority leader harry reid announced he is endorsing clinton for
several stops throughout the state ahead of saturday's primary. this morning she started in west columbia, then making her way to sumter to speak to students at morris college. tomorrow morning she will host a town hall meeting in williamsburg county. south carolina democrats may not recognize one name on the ballot in saturday's primary. chicago businessman willie wilson is running for president as a champion of ordinary americans not beholden to corporate interests. he spolke with wis-news 10 today. wilson's a self-made millionaire who worked his way up from poverty in louisiana to running an international medical supply company and his own gospel radio show. he says he has plenty of experience running a business and dealing with international issues. as for the experience of washington veterans like bernie sanders and hillary clinton, williams says that kind of experience has "caused" the problems ameria has today. this country should have economic empowerment to reflect the citizens of america. this country should have free education. if cuba and china can have free education, why not us?
forgiveness of student debt loans. this country should have a public policy, public education, that should reflect equal opportunity under the law. this country should have equal work, equal pay for females. and also, last is a national faith-based initiative program. these are things that i am talking about. and if it comes down to the fact that, if we cannot elect a president of these united states, with a platform and delegates we will use those to the fullest to get some of our message out there. among democrats, wilson says he has struggled with party leaders to get his name on the ballot. besides south carolina, he says he will be appearing on the ballot in california, louisiana, illinois, texas and missouri and
court fight to get onto the ballot in mississippi. wilson says his faith is a big part of his campaign but that he can work with, and serve, people of any denomination or none. after the democratic primary here, there is just a few days until "super tuesday." next tuesday, 12 states including georgia, alabama, and tennessee will hold primaries. after the dust settles on tuesday night, the delegate count could give a clear picture of the nominee in both parties. before super tuesday, cnn will host one more republican debate. that's tomorrow at 8:30 in houston, texas. and make sure you tune into our decision 2016 special tomorrow night starting at 7. we'll have live r rorts from the liberty tap room, where we'll speak to experts about the upcoming vote, and have an in-depth look at the candidates. while it's too early in the race to tell if trump has the nomination in the bag - experts say time is starting to run out for other candidates to close the gap. though trump has only 81 of the
delegates needed to win the nomination - super tuesday is quickly approaching, when over 500 delegates are up for grabs. political experts say if trump continues his three state win streak into super tuesday, it won't be much of a competition after that. "how you stop him if he does as well on march 1st as he's done up to this point. it gets to be that point in the process where time's running out." oldendick says the strategic move would be for cruz or rubio to drop out of the race to give just one alternative to trump. but, with both the texas and it's unlikely that either of them will drop out. plus, if you need to bust out of your exercise rut, a rowing machine can be a great option for strength and endurance-building. it's next in 50 days to 50 years.
it's day 14 oturning 50, i chose a workout at muv fitness on a row machine. :00 - :10 :28 - :36 1:00 - 1:10 "you're going to come from the hip is where you're going to get your extension. and all your work is coming from rest. exhale. inhale." personal trainer and conditioning coach keith hare put me on a row machine at muv fitness in forest acres. keith says learning proper technique is key to getting the maximum benefit. "a lot of people will just pull it without that pull
through and you're extending from the hip. you want to hinge from the hip so you can get that extra extension. you want to bend the legs and you're going to drive through the legs." the rowing puts a lot of muscles into action so the aerobic benefit is high which means the calories-burned count also is up there. "if you're going for like 20 or 30 minutes, it's going to be about pacing yourself. but if you're going for a sprint which is like 500 meter row, you're going to go for speed. that's going to be your work. and that's going to be your recover." not only is this a full body workout, but it's a full body aerobic exercise. "you're going to feel this on the top of your legs, in your legs, your lower back, and your upper back because now you're working that upper back with that pull. and the drive is coming from your legs." rowing also gives you a nice stretch in the hamstrings. plus, it's very doable - despite a cast. "you're not putting a lot of
you're still able to get in your exercise and that's what's most important." this exercise is a great one for getting our backs in shape for summer. "that is where you're working. this upper back. her back is nice and toned. here and lower back." keith ended my workout with a challenge to get my rowing pace finish. muv fitness was a former church and once inside is so large, it's like a "little city." the interview with keith will be on my social media sites shortly. severe threat is less as much of the dynamics lift to the northeast however, a few thunderstorms will develop along the cold front as it moves through the state.
