after his son's death, along with p-t-s-d and alcoholism, there was little chance that he planned the murder. 3 "(when you walked in and saw him out of the corner of your eye you knew that was the man you wanted to kill) i didn't intend to kill him, i only remember seeing his face." while it is possible that he did what the state has said, it is sort of unusual that someone with his psychiatric structure he would do that. in an exchange with the prosecutor, doctor corbin acknowledged that neither a stroke nor heart problems makes a person want to kill someone. 3 3 we have an update this morning on a woman accused of cutting an unborn baby from a mother's womb. a jury in colorado found dynel lane guilty on all counts in the attack last year on former brevard resident, michelle wilkins. wilkins survived, but her baby did not. lane will be sentenced april 29th. she faces up to 140 years in prison. 3 3

investigation into a possible hate crime at brevard college. in november, a 20-year-old and two minors were charged with crimes related to ethnic intimidation. the alleged victim was black, and the suspects are white. over the last two weeks, f-b-i agents have been interviewing those involved with the situation, and are considering more charges. the transylvania county n-double-a-c-p president says agents told him the investigation began after an anonymous tip. 3 we feel that it should have been classified as a hate crime because of everything that it involved and all of the circumstances surrounding it.3 school officials say they are cooperating fully with the f-b-i. there is no timeline for when a decision could be made in the case. 3 3 brevard police are searching for a missing man. 24-year-old matthew jenkins was last seen a week ago. he is known to visit asheville and knoxville. if you have any information ... call brevard police.
