28% of return voters are backing cruz. donald trump is close behind with 26% report. that difference is within the pollll margin of error. it's a major shift from the same poll last month which gave trump a wide 13-point lead over cruz. pollsters say it's too soon to tell if the shift is permanent or temporary. >> again, the state polls still showing trump leading the pack. trump has also -- the quinnipiac poll puts him at 39%. that's the next best showing, would be from marco rubio with 19% and then cruz comes in at 18%. again, that was the national quinnipiac poll. >> and trump holds a 19-point lead over ted cruz. among those likely to vote, according to the latest bloomberg poll. the key, get out and vote if you want to be able to have your voice heard. talking about one candidate, getting a big endorsement from

there's the forecast for tomorrow, some winds out of the north. we'll keep temperatures in check. we top out maybe 57 somewhere in the range plus or minus a few degrees with plenty of sunshine all day long. 70s, yes, they are still in the seven-day. arrive. that's coming up in a little bit. >> thank you. an elderly couple lost their home tonight after fire tore through their columbia home. the fire department says they re called out to redwood court after 7:00 tonight. the home we're told is a total loss and authorities say they still are investigating the cause of this fire. the couple was transported to a hospital as a precaution. tonight they are being assisted by the red cross. the new berpry county sheriff's office hopes you can identify a suspect in an armed robbery. it happened last friday at peak pharmacy. the investigators say the man entered the pharmacy and robbed them using what appeared to be a

the suspect fled the seen in a gray ford ranger. if you have any information about the suspect contact the sheriff's office at 321-2222. sumter police are looking for your help in low dating a -- lower kateing a teenager, dominique mccray. he left his home after an nuary 31st. police say he reached out to his father on february 6th but tonight his whereabouts are still unknown. if you have any information or you have seen him, call crimestoppers at 1-888-crime-sc. myrtle beach police hope to have new tools in place before this year's atlantic beach bake fest. the department bake -- bike fest. they should have operational readers by memorial day. three people were killed in eight shootings during the 2014 bike fest.

last year. it's been another record year for exportsts in south carolina. state leaders announced the state exported nearly $31 billion worth of goods last year. that's the sixth straight year exports set a record. south carolina leads the nation in motor vehicle exports. the state is the top exporter of tires. we export about 28% of the national total. our state's tourism has grown to $19 billion. 20 was also a record year in hotel occupancy. tourism officials say the state is starting a new marketing campaign called satisfy your thirst. it's designed to draw visitors to businesses that make everything from beer to tea and from milk, even moonshine. coming up -- of apple is challenging a judge's order to help the fbi unlock an iphone.

us here tonight. what i thought i would start with is one of these things that doesn't happen all that afternoon. i start with the almanac. it doesn't happen that often because we're only 1 degree off from the average. today was almost exactly average. again, it doesn't happen all that often. 37 for the low. that's what we hit. 62 for the high. 1 degree warmer than the long-term average. what's going on? pleasant tomorrow, nice friday and come the weekend, we'll finally get to the os we've been promising. let's show you the satellite loop. as you can see, skies are clear over the top of us. as you zoom out, you will see not much else going on. lake-effect snow in western new york but out to the west there's nothing in the offing for us. what will impact our weather is a high that will be sitting up to the north. you will notice winds out of the north and they will continue into friday to a lesser extent as well. we get this high up here, winds

we'll be like upper 50s. by the time we get to friday we'll climb a few degrees. and then this will shut off into the weekend allowing the temperatures to warm in the 70s. tonight, we have clear skies. there's not much doing. we'll dip down to the mid-30s. that will take care of business for us. tonight, again, a nice day, we start you out with plenty of sunshine. sunrise a little bit after 7:00. temperatures mid-30s generally speaking. it should be a fine commute in terms of the weather. here you go. there is a look at tomorrow afternoon. there's the cooler air, especially as the wind coming out of the north, camden, newberry, more 50, orangeburg, more like 60. now looking ahead, temperatures climb a little bit on friday. the gamecocks answer opening day is friday. should' oing -- opening day.
