south florida. i'm eric yutzy m i'm jacey birch. hope everybody had a great weekend. the weather was perfection. got to get out and enjoy. >> good morning. a little groggy. get going today. weather authority meteorologist juliedurda helping us out with all of that. >> south florida, it is definitely warmer this morning. >> a light breeze and place and more cloud cover. one thing you'll notice more than anything is that breeze moving in from the ocean. temperatures as the kids he to the bus stop will be in the mid 60s. that's right. currently we have 64 degrees in miami as well as ft. lauderdale. 65 in key west. you know those 50s and 40s we had over the weekend, that's a thing of the past all thanks to thehift in the wind direction. we are expecting right now lows in the low 60s, kendall, homestead and pembroke pines. good morning to you all. hialeah as well. these temperatures are anywhere between three and six degrees warmer than yesterday.

alert arrests a woman behind bars accused of stealing her cousin's twol month old baby. your phone might have been buzzingith that alert on friday. now we're learning more about the alleged kidnapper and who is layron livingston, local 10 news brought us the story all weekend long. he continues his coverage this morning updates from the broward good morning. >>reportrt: good morning, eric. as you said family members of this two month old baby, they are telling us that the people now accused of snatching her at gunpoint if her he are also family members, cousins in fact. -year-old stephanie augustine and a 14-year-old boy are expected to be in court later tod. authorities say augustine tapped her 14-year-old cousin to barge in this baby's 14th court near ft. lauderdale on friday night to take this baby.

month old taraji kemp was back with her mother. i was outside the home early saturday morning when authorities issued a state-wide amber alert in this case. for nearly a day authorities searched not only for that baby but forrthe people they say are responsible for all of this. they were both arrested after augustine's car was spotted on the turn pike near for the pierce. reportedly abandoned at a home outside of lando. >> it hurt us very much so because it's two people that are going to sit in a jail for a very long time. at the end of the day, that's our flood. >>reporter: we also plan to stick with the situation and let you know what happens when both of these individuals augustine and the 14-year-old boy appear in court later on today. now reporting live, layron livingston, local 10 news. okay. right now police do need

be in danger. 55-year-old jean wasser was last seen sunday morning. police say there are no signs of fall play but she does suffer from memory loss and has early john set alzheimer's. police ask you to be on the lookout for him, last seen at his home. he walked away and nobody knows in what direction he was headed. the 21-year-old has mental health issues and does not speak but will respond to his name. two people taken to a hospital after a crasaslanding on sunday. the home was not damaged, not clear what caused that glider to go down. the venetian causeway now ready to reopen after it was shut down for months. starting today, drivers

in not just today. these temperatures are anywhere between three andix degrees warmer than what we woke up to yesterday. you'll noticicin the mid to upper levels of the atmosphere we are waking up to cloud cover, mostly cloudy skies from lake okeechobee down to key west but the atmosphere is dry at the surface. not expecting these clouds to produce precipitation. where we're going to see wide-spread precipitation is over ohio valley. the system will move into northern florida by the middle part of the workweek. we're not expecting big changes in our forecast. just a slight increase in rain chances going through the middle part& of the workweek. another front will be marchingngnto the southeast right now over portions of the dakotas. look at the temperatures there in the teens right now. we have the 30s across the great plains and up and down the key west much warmer. for us high pressure in place providing for a seasonal afternoon. the warming trend continues through the

lawsuits. >> florida businesses have been facing a wave of ada suits. some say it feelsike extortion, others argue the businesses should know better. >>reporter: three businesses island with nearly cashen copy lawsuits. >> we're going to take you to court. >> we're sued for non-compliance in axe da. >>reporter: all located@ in oakland, the suits claim they are in violation of ada. each suit filed by mark cohen. the plaintiff in each suit, tal houston. >> never been in this building. >>reporter: in the case of ross auto repair, some of the language describing the property in the suit didn't match what we saw once we visited the business. it says we have no access, no building

we are seeing lighter skies. sunrise in about a minutes. first lied over the horizon as you walk out the door this morning. it's helping to blanket the atmosphere in south florida to keep us a bit muggy. relative humidity at 72%. a temperature at 64 deees. ft. lauderdale 64 as well with the north northwest wind at three miles per hour and down by the keys mostlylear skies. relative humidity at 87% with a northeast breeze. so by the afternoon we are going to transition into an east wind. wind will continueto provide a warmup going into the afternoon and evening. currently these temperatures are anywhere between four and six degrees warmer than what we saw. peaks of sunshine will occur. the atmosphere is very dry at the surface thanks to highressure just off the coast of the carolinas. behind that high h have a frontal boundary
