delaware and lehigh valleys. that could make for a rough commute. let's head over to david murphy and karen rogers good morning. >> reporter: the fog is near the unmelted snow in the northern and western areas, although spots in philadelphia has fog. there are sprinkles moving through, most of these are very light. this is their residual last effect of yesterday's rain that went through. if you look at the wider view you can see the rain is pronounced. we have mostly cloudy skies and a couple of lingering sprinkles. dense fog advisory is expected to spire at 7:00. i suppose it could be extended beyond that in a couple of places. the big concern is where the visibilities are down to a quarter mile in some areas. 53 degrees in philadelphia. so it's comfortable out there. a couple of sprinkles around, 42 in allentown.
44 in reading. a little cooler up north. as we head out to grab the spot on the bus stop or start up the car. look for clouds and fog and residual drizzle. 62 degrees by 6:00. 50 by 8:00 a.m. we stay mild climbing into the 50s by noon, high of 56 degrees we'll hit that around 3:00 p.m. we could have wet snow in parts of the region by tomorrow this morning. we'll pin that down for you in the seven day, karen. everyday there's a reason to mess with the commute which is great. today the roads are a bit wet and we have fog out there. we have that on i-95 approaching cottman and the speeds are okay. we have an accident i-95 northbound at 676 you can see the traffic heading toward girard. it is moving okay, but the left lane is blocked. we have light volume that's helping us out. we have police and emergency
workers blocking the left lane on i-95 at the vine. northeast extension we had an accident involving a car and tractor-trailer. that's clearing out at this point. an earlier accident cleared in upper pottsgrove township. expect fog and watch because the roads are wet, matt. karen, thanks. a gas leak forced a dozen people out of their philadelphia homes overnights. fire crews responded to north 21st street in the west oak lane section. when the crews arrived meters detected high leaves of natural gas. they evacuated a number of neighboring house as a precaution. pgw is working to shut off the gas. developing overnight, a man was am busheled shot and killed while answering a knock at the front door.
katherine scott is live on phil more street. >> reporter: the victim was a 30-year-old man shot while visiting a home in frankford. homicide detectives are investigating in the case. let's go to the video in frankford on the 1800 block of philmoore street. police say there were close to a dozen people inside the home when this happened around 10:30 including four children between the ages of 4 and 8. police say a man walked up opened the unlocked door and reached inside and fired three to five shots. one man was hit in the head. he collapsed on the living room floor and pronounced dead by medics a short time later. the suspect took off on foot running east on fill wearing a dark jacket with write writing on the front maybe a north face
jacket. crime scene unit recovered two shell casing fired from a semi automatic gun. all the adults were taken in for questioning as witnesses. we don't have a motive, but the intersection is known for street level narcotics valleys. so in addition to having numerous witnesses that were inside the house, we found numerous cameras right outside. police say they did find quite a few cameras in the area they say they captured footage of the man walking up to the door and running away, but they have not released instead surveillance footage, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." thank you, katherine. a montgomery county judge refused to throw out the sexual assault case against bill cosby. he issued a ruling last night sweeping aside at that time former district attorney verbally granted the comedian
immunity a decade. he is accused of sexually assaulting andrea constan a decade ago. crowds reacted to the judge's decision. i don't believe it at all. to have it brought up years later, since it happened years ago, it should have been brought up when it happened. >> reporter: a preliminary hearing is set for march 8th. that will determine if there's enough evidence to move forward with the trial. cosby's attorney said they will appeal. redevelopment plans to save ss united states from the scrap pile will be moved to new york. the conservancy group will provide details at the matten --
