good morning, everyone, it is 4:30 a.m., monday, february 22. we're following breaking news. police are investigating a crash on the atlantic city expressway that damaged a toll booth. bill cosby's wife is expected to answer questions today in a deposition. black lives matters signs have been stolen for the second time. it looks like we'll wind up sunny after a slightly cloudy
start this morning. 42 degrees in philadelphia. we're still down closer to the freezing mark in allentown, 33 degrees, we did get a spotty shower late yesterday and in through last night. perhaps an icy patch here or there. 35 degrees in reading. 38 in wilmington. 37 in trenton and the 40s down the shore. as you head out to the bus stop this morning, might be looking at partly cloudy skies in some areas, but the temperatures will be improving a bit up to 40 degrees by 8:00 a.m. this afternoon it will be mild, although not as mild as yesterday. we got up to 60 or so in philadelphia over the weekend, saturday and sunday, today, 49 by 1:00 p.m., the high will be 49 reading by 3:00 p.m. a quiet start to the roads, this is the blue route past ridge pike we see the northbound traffic moving just fine, the
roads are clear and dry. no big issues right now. the vine street expressway, eastbound, westbound, no overnight construction, just a few cars eastbound, nobody heading westbound on the vine. overall, the big picture looking good, blue route, schuylkill expressway, i-95 roads in good shape. don't forget about the falls bridge closure until april 1. route 30 anticipate 4 oh, 1 a little bit of construction on the shoulder, not causing issues out there. breaking right now, two cars collided on the atlantic city expressway in atlantic county. one of the drivers ran into the toll booth at the pleasantville plaza. this happened at 1:30 on the eastbound side. the car took on down a pole and left he debris on the highway.
camille cosby is due to answer questions under oath in a defamation lawsuit. several women who claim he assaulted them decades ago filed the suit. katherine scott has more. >> reporter: matt, the lawyers tried to block the deposition, but there was a motion to postpone. the 71-year-old wife is expected answer questions under oath in a defamation lawsuit brought by 7 women who accused him of misconduct. because camille cosby is his wife and his business manager could have important information. cosby's lawyer argued marriage privilege, but the judge ruled
that the deposition must proceed. over the weekend, the defense attorneys filed a motion saying that the public testimony would create an unnecessary media circus and personal security threat that serves no reason but to humiliate and harass her. no 0 wife has to go into a public forum and testify about his relationships with other women. but late yesterday, a judge ruled that the deposition can proceed. now, even if camille appears as scheduled today, she can cite marital privilege and refuse to answer questions about personal conversations with her husband. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." thank you for that. new this morning, vandals hit a south jersey church for the second time in two weeks.
someone stole the black lives matter banners in cherry hill over the weekend. the congregation posted a picture on facebook showing the broken beams with the banners were. a knocked over fire hydrant led to this scene in tacony. crews were on long shore avenue where water was on the roadway. that's right here the entrance to i-95, use caution if you're going through that area. police in berks county are questioning three suspects in connection with the stabbing of a student near kutztown university. the 22-year-old victim was stabbed on saturday at 1:00 p.m. police have not released the suspects' identities. a car struck and killed a woman in camden county last night. it happened along college drive in gloucester township shortly
after 9:00 p.m. a wilmington fire marshalls ' office is investigating a weekend blaze, a many and his wife had to be rescued after their home caught fire. the woman who lives at the home said a noise woke her up and saw flames coming from the first floor. anyone with information about this arson investigation is asked to contact the wilmington fire marshals office. aman is under arrest for a car crash that killed three young people in philadelphia back in july of last year. police say christopher bloomfield was driving under the influence when he lost control of the vehicle abbey slammed into a tree in the somerton section. the accident killed three. another passenger survived the
crash. for kelly mcdade, it was an arrest that made her feel better. i wasn't going to stop until i got justice for her. the car was seen on surveillance video speeding down the street. police are asking for your help to find a suspect who robbed a target store. he assaulted two employees and threatened them with a knife during the robbery attempt. two security officers suffered minor injuries, call police if you think you can identify that man. two artists are involved on the statues of joe paterno are working on two new statues. they admit they have not contacted the artist from

we're on the mild side. we're in the 30s in the northern suburbs, wind light at 8 miles per hour. a comfortable morning overall. temperatures up north are cooler, 35 degrees in reading. allentown, close to 33 degrees, close to the freezing mark i should say. so, if anything looks wet up there, probably is, that 33 is just the airport temperature, there could other areas that are below freezing, be careful. 37 in trenton and a lot of 40s through south jersey and delaware. satellite and radar showing you that the rain that came through yesterday afternoon and evening it is now gone and we're beginning to get breaks in the clouds, even though we may start out with cloud cover in some neighborhoods. 39 degrees by 8:00. 43 by 10:00 a.m. yesterday and saturday we got up to 60 across the region. today we'll do 51, even that is nice for this time of year in philadelphia. 50 by 5:00 p.m.
so we hold on to that mild feel through much of the afternoon. high temperatures in the mid afternoon hours, 51 in reading, 51 in trenton. 52 in millville. down by the shore next to the consumer ocean water you're liability to get to the upper 40s, but that's not bad. tomorrow we have clouds in the morning as we head into the noontime period we're looking at rain coming up from the south and getting into philadelphia in time for lunchtime. it continues through the afternoon. notice for a time time in the northern and western suburbs we may change over to a period of wet snow. it doesn't last too long. by 6:00. looks like it's rain everywhere and later at night we begin to see it fall apart a little bit, wednesday there will be additional rain coming through, though. and overall we're looking at decent rainfall amounts we could get up over an inch on much of our model projections.
