two south florida voters lucky to be alive after a close call in fort lauderdale posting a video of the crew rescuing two people that went overboard. they say the boaters were inexperienced in dealing with bad weather when the boat began to take on water. the man and woman reportedly had no life jackets. when rescuers arrive the man was barely able to keep her head above water. >> jeff: innocent people become targets of this sinister@ suspect's shooting ree. when he opened fire at random, at least 6 are dead and 24ths injured in michigan after the man started driving around and shting people and we're now learning the accused shooter was also a driver with uber. >> we had multiple people messaging us telling us you guys be careful. there's this killer going around. >> reporter: a night out in

a nightmare after police say 45-year-old jason dalton opened fire at random killing 6 people and seriously injuring two others. >> they weren't targeted for any reason other than they were there to be a target. they were shot multiple times. >> jeff: according to authorities it spanned 3 different locations. the first an apartment complex where a woman was shot 4 times. she remains in serious condition. several hours later police say dalton opened fire again at a car dealership where two men were shot and killed. and minutes later 4 people were gunned down in the parking lot of a cracker barrel restaurant. the 14-year-old girl also shot in critical condition. it would take police 2 more hours before catching up to daltonon >> a suspect vehicle was spotted in kalmazoo by the sheriff's deputy and the vehicle was followed a short distance and eventually it was stopped. the driver was indeed

he was taken into custody. >> reporter: a source with knowledge of the investigation says police believe dalton was a uber driver and picked up passengers in between the shootings. he's expected to be arraigned in court on monday afternoon. >> the next most important thing is to reassure everyone that there is no continuing threat to the safety of this community. >> reporter: and uber goes on for dalton being one of their drivers but the company isn't confirming information that came out on social media he was working the night of the attackck >> robbin: in the race for the white house, republican donald trump winning big in south carolina this weekend. and the gop field is getting smaller with former florida governor jeb bush dropping out. >> there's nothing easy about running for president, i can tell you. it's tough, it's nasty, it's mean. it's vicious.

a reckless driver bringing traffic to a standstill on the bay bridge. donuts being done across several lanes. witnesses say the pickup truck was trailili the vehicle to film the stunt and the video later surfaced online and caught the attention of police. >> the san francisco chp units responded to the scene. by the time we got there, though, no vehicles were located that were doing the sideshows or driving recklessly. >> a further investigation revealed the video is one of many shared online with the hashtag #bayareamovement. >> and not only the participants be seriously injured or killed but the more importantly innocent bystanders and a real and serious jury. >> reporter: participants taking a stand against law enforcement. one person was previously scene throwing a blank of wood at a patrol car. and just this weekend a group of bikers were found performing stunts on the highway. one rider pulled a wheelie while another stood on the seat

we'll be right back.( >> a few shcwers to the south of the florida keys starting to dissipate each as we speak. so as we go into tonight, we could see a few hit or miss showers right off that breeze. we saw more sunshine today and those clouds start to thin out just a little bit more and currently y mperatures across the board are into the 70s. at 74 in fort lauderdale also the current temperature. in coral springs and pembroke pines it's 73 . and current temperature in key biscayne 75 in doral and 79 in marathon and 73 in key west. the wind speeds picking up 13 mph in miami. 10 in fort lauderdale. 10 also in key west.

the gusts picking up as well at 18 mph. so we'll continue to have that breeze ling around. it's starting to move out and that moisture starting to move in. see a lot more of that especially on tuesday with that better chance of rain showers ahead of the next front. as we go into the overnight hours, isolated showers possible and take those into your monday. so for tomorrow moving right back into 80s as well with that breeze out of the southeast and then as we go into tuesday, better chance of rain as that front starts to get closer and 80s return for daytime highs and with that southeast breeze more moisture and humid, warm, muggy. i know it's winter but that's the forecast for the next several days before the front clears out t by the end of the week. with rip currents the beaches high into mondayand no
