the democratic candidates are back on the campaign trail today. hilary clinton and bernie sanders faced off in their last debate before the south carolina primary and the nevada caucus. clinton sought to regain momentum in milwaukee...calling the vermont senator out on his so-called unrealistic plans for the country.. butted to the candidates also discussed criminal justice reform and race relations. a 10 news investigation investigation exposes predatory towing in one of tampa's busiest night life districts. now city council members are taking action and other cities are taking note. 10 news reporter garin flowers joins us live on howard avenue where most cars were towed last year. what are some changes we're seeing garin? that 10 investigates report showed that tow trucks were towing your cars before noon the next day after a night out even though it was against a city ordinance... that's because these places sell liquor and the goal was to allow you to have a fun night without

religious reconciliation. the pope will make a trip to mexico later next week. this morning diplomats agreed to a syria ceasefire in a week. and to offer humanirian aide to areas of syria that are currently being attacked by iranian and russian-backed forces. secretary of state john kerry says this will be just a pause in fighting.. not an end to the five year long civil war. a u.s. official confirmed to cbs news that aid deliveries are expected to begin this week, possibly as soon as friday. remember the story about padi the dog.. it was declared dangerous after it bit off part of a boy's ear inside a bradenton veterinary office. padi was set to be euthanized without any consideration of the circumstances surrounding the boy's attack.. the community rallied. padi was saved. on governor scott's desk to make sure this doesn't happen owners. officers more leeway in of dogs that cause severe injuries... such as if the dog was acting in self-

in defense of its owner or against a tresspasser. a disturbing story developing out of ohio this morning. police have shot and killed a man with a machete after he attacked several people at a restaurant. it happened thursday evening in the northeast part of columbus. four people are in the hospital. one in critical condition. the man ran from the restaurant, but was cornered by police. right now, investigators say this was likely a random attack. today a pasco county mom is outraged after her 7 year old autistic son... in special needs classes... is handcuffed at his school. sande butler plans to sue the district... and deputies... after she says the school resource officer cuffed her son, allen, leaving marks on his wrists and body. then, took him to be involuntarily commited at a mental health facility.

had a meltdown and raised his pencil to lash out at the teacher, but believes staff isn't properly trained to handle special needs children. the district insists these teachers do get special training. the pasco county sheriff's office tells 10news that deputies follow state law when baker acting anyone, they can be handcuffed or zip tied, no matter their age. happening today, president obama is granting national monument status to about two million acres of southern california desert. the white house says the area provides recreational hikers, campers and hunters. forget 4-g, a-t and ready to conduct 5-g field trials by the end of the year. 5-g is short for generation" of wireless and it translates into speeds. back in september, verizon announced that it would also begin 5-g field tests in 2016. you're going to have to wait for 5-g service though until at least 20-20. soon there will be a more affordable option

republican front republican front runner donald trump is bringing his campaign to the tampa bay area. he'll be at the u- s-f sun dome tonight at 7. doors open at five. free tickets are still available, but there is a charge of 20 dollars per vehicle for parking. trump is coming off of a major win in the new hampshire primary. just into our newsroom.. the world health organization says vaccination for the zika virus are still 18 months away from trials and maryland now has its first confirmed case. there are now 18

all are people who traveled outside of the u-s and none involve pregnant women. tampa is joining the fight against zika by collecting unwanted tires that can become breeding sites for mosquitoes. that starts tomorrow and we have more information on our website w-t-s-p dot com. tampa bay city council has decided to move forward with a bill allowing drivers to leave cars overnight until noon. the vote came during a meeting last night. included in the ordinance.. businesses that sell alcohol must post a sign saying that customers can leave their cars parked there without the fear of being towed until noon the next day. the deadline for the report is march 17th. the hope is that will eliminate the number of drunk drivers on the roads. do you want a tesla but you don't want to pay more than 100 thousand dollars for one? well, you can put in your reservation for its model 3, which will start at about 35 thousand, before tax rebates. tesla motors will begin accepting reservations for its mass-market electric car in march. analysts though are saying if you pre-order you're going to have to wait
