they feel they need to win that division, the establishment division before they can turn full throttle. a lot of people are saying in this state they may not get in the game. this may be a trump/cruz battle. godzilla and king cong are fighting. the other guys need to show they can play at that level, as well. a tragic story. maryland's governor ordered flagged to fly at half staff to honor two deputies shot and killed by a gunman. one deputy was shot in the head in a crowded panerra bread restaurant. a second deputy found him nearby and that deputy was also fatally shot. the 67-year-old gunman was killed in an exchange of gun fire with other deputies. more problems for the city

the justice department is suing the city for not making good on proposed reforms. the doj is seeking to force the city to make the changes. attorney general says the residents of ferguson cannot wait longer. > the royal caribbean ship battered after steering into a dangerous storm arrived in new jersey last night. the passengers had plenty to say about brutal conditions they faced at sea. janet shamlian spoke to some of them. >> reporter: passengers started strereing off the ship about 9:30 last night describg what they call a forturous trip. they say at the height of the storm a period of about four hours they thought they were going down. one of the world's largest and newest cruise ships the anthem of the sea is finally back in port. ship and royal caribbean's

after sailing directly into a powerful atlantic storm. three days before their scheduled arrival passengers couldn't wait to get off the anthem of the sea when it stopped late last night vacationers describe it as terrifying. >> probably the scariest thing in my life. >> it was a cruise from hell. >> reporter: 30 foot seas and winds of more than 150 miles per hour and rigig in the middle of it. >> i feaead for my life. >> old people laying in bed saying good e for the last time that is what it felt like. >> reporter: shattered glass and overturned furniture. passengers told to shelter in their room. at the height o othe storm the massive vessel lifted as much as 45 degrees. >> you don't come back from that. >> reporter: the remainder of the cruise was cancelled and on monday the ship turned around.

island today. i would say it ruined my vacation a little bit. >> reporter: royal caribbean is vowing to improve how it monitors storms saying what happened this week shows we need to do better. the vessel won't be allowed to sail again until deemed safe. royal caribbean is promising full returns and credits towards a future cruise. some of the passengers say they won't be using. >> not enough to get me back on a cruise ship. >> reporter: a number of passengers are still on board. anyone who needed asestance with luggage was required to stay until this morning until they could disembark. investigators will be boarding the vessel check frg structural or electric damage anything t prevent the ship from leaving on the next cruise scheduled for saturday.
