>> a number of the pundits said, if a couple of other candidatessed out, if you add their scores together, it will equal trump. they are geniuses. they don't understand thatacy people drop out, i'm going get a lot of those votes also. you don't just add them together. >> of course you also look at the numbers for momentum favoring marco rubio, the endorsement picked up from popular south carolina governor nikki haley, clearly helped him in this race and bet this will help him moving forward and expect a lot of establishment republicans to rally or try to rally others to marco rubio's cause. in the democratic race, we also have a good moment for hillary clinton after getting blown up in new hampshire, she scores a narrow win over berniey sanders in the state of nevada and the good news for

may have had a medical issue. they have not released that person's name. update to the deadly shooting in town & country. deputies say -- shot and killed at the captiva club apartments on memorial highway. they believe he was armed with a gun in her apartment. another man inside the partnership surprised him. they struggled with a gun and then he was shot and killed. the investigation is ongoing but so far no charges have been filed. and drivers should expect to hit the brakes near the veteran's expressway. lane widening is shutting down under the overpass. so construction crews work on that project. equipment is taking up a lane of traffic so expect slow down theres as well. take gunn highway or sheldon road to the west and dale mabry to the east as an alternate. across america, another law enforcement officer is killed in the line of duty. state officials say the agent was killed early saturday morning.
mississippi bureau of narcotics. three others were also hurt during a shoot out with the man who was later killed. authorities say the suspect's wife and 10-year-old daughter were also home at the time. thankfully they are okay. the agent was 44 years old and leaves behind a wife and two children. a house fire in new york leads two people and three others hurt with children. 7 people lived in that house including a 9 year-old who suffered burns on more than 90% of his body. a 4-year-old is being treated for smoke inhalation. one 69 adults killed in that fire was the children's father. what sparked flames is still under investigation. a 5-year-old is among the victims after a shoot out in an alabama mall t happened at the western hills mall in fairfield in birmingham. the 5-year-old was grazed on the neck by a bullet. the 21-year-old shot in the leg. three others were hurt. all are expected to recover.

good luck and good morning. a random act of kindness has snowballed into a life-changing event for a clearwater homeless man. it's this week's "faith in action". it's a friendship formed boy a chance meeting. >> i went around to the corp. tore block the whipped because it was a very windy night and i seen rocky sleeping there. didn't want to bother him and went wack to the other side of the bridge and then a few minutes rocky came over and the conversation was started. >> and it stuck. matt and rocky chatted away the
>> i was just astounded he never did ask for nothing. he was cold and i'm sure he was hungry and i'm sure that he had a lot of things on his mind but never expressed at all. >> but matt couldn't leave him empty-handed. he gave rocky a sweatshirt stay warm. and it didn't end there. matt started a facebook chain to collect money to help his new friend get back on his feet. >> i'm still trying to suck this all in. after being on the streets for so many years, i never asked for anything. i don't have any signs. i don't go up to people saying can you spare a few dollars. i don't do that. >> days after matt made the post, the communities come together to donate well over 1500 dollars to help rocky secure a permanent flies live. he was also able to get a steady job at crabbies in clearwater and started attending church. >> i am extremely thankful. i continue to call god's praise and continue to go to church and work here. i couldn't pick a better place

week chilly. highs in the 60s. changes in lakeland this morning. remember yesterday waking up to scattered clouds from the east coast. this morning our skies are clear. it's a bit cooler as a result. you're at 52 in lakeland and we have someday chilly temperatures nort of the bay. brooksville at 46. crystal river is at 45. 52 in sebring. 51 in wauchula and 57 in tampa and 61 in st. pete. on the east coast, we have a mid 60s in some locations with that light generally on shore wind. so for some of us running 4 degrees cooler and elsewhere no big sink in our temperatures. it will be inland because you're going on see more sun. visibility good. i have been watching hints of patchy fog but all-in-all no pickup on your morning drive. high pressure coming from the east. winds are really light and what that will do is prompt the sea breeze so at the beach you'll
but all-in-all, the further inland you live, the warmer you will be. changes are coming. hint of high clouds across in north central florida and eventually by tonight, we'll bring in some of those clouds. we have a messy front off to our north and west. it's colding its dance now because high pressure is so strong but starting tuesday a little disturbance will rise this boundary and move in and gift us 30% rain chance and then a stronger front will come in wednesday afternoon give us a few thunderstorms and then bring us cooler weather behind it. here is active weather pushing across mid-atlantic this morning. there is cooler air on the backside of this front so no more 50s chicago. milder for them today and just stunning out west. l.a. had a great stretch with that ridge in control. temperatures this morning range from 36 in kansas city to 66 in memphis. we are at 57. that mild surge continues. it breaks down mid-week with that front pushing in.
