tap with temperatures climbing to 62 degrees. we stay dry this morning and early afternoon before rain and thunderstorms out ahead of a cold front start to move in towards the evening commute. the tri state is under a slight risk for severe storms this evening with our best chance of severe weather after 7pm. i will keep storm chances in forecast up until about 2am with our biggest issues being damaging wind and heavy rain. while i can not rule out tornado development that risk is very low for us in the tri state. rain will taper wednesday morning with temps in the upper 40s to start wednesday falling into the 30s by afternoon. then much cooler and seasonal with highs in the upper 30s to end the week. frank cam

anderson's andrew norwell had to sit through all seven rounds, without hearing his name called in the draft. he worked out with the bengals, but the panthers gave him a chance, and now he has a chance to win a super bowl in one week. fox19 now's jeremy

new this morning new this morning the legal blood alcohol level, may soon become lower.... at least that's what the n- t-s-b is now pushing for. the federal agency is asking states to lower their legal limit from point- zero-eight to point-zero-five. they say it's a way to reduce alcohol-related incidents out on the road. in the last 15 years, one-third of all highway deaths involved alcohol. and if you're driving through new miami... you might want to slow it down. new miami village police are back to writing speeding tickets with the help of traffic cameras. the state banned the village's old speed cameras back in 2014-- because they were un- manned. the new cameras are manned and they are legal. police point a radar gun at you... pull the trigger and upload a picture of your car to a private company. your ticket finds you, through the mail.

recent polls and won with a pretty clear margin yesterday. in fact, donald trump found himself fighting for second place because of a last minute rise from marco rubio. for democrats, meantime, the narrowest of margins between bernie sanders and hilary clinton in a state that clinton once dominated. down to the wire. the clinton team had to nix elaborate victory plans that would have included speeches from bill and chelsea clinton with only the candidate herself making a vague statement about the results. clinton says "..i stand here tonight breathing a big sigh of relief, thank you iowa!" a sigh of relief maybe, but, clinton will leave iowa with almost the same number of delegates as bernie sanders, who felt

last night was a win no matter what the final count is. sanders says "..i think the people of iowa have sent a very profound message to the political establishment, to the economic establishment and oh by the way the media establishment." cruz says "..tonight, is victory for the grassroots." for republican ted cruz, the win was clear cut. a fox poll shows that a stunning sixty-two percent of g-o-p caucus goers last night consider themselves evangelicals and, a third of them backed cruz. rubio says "..we'll see you soon again and new hampshire, we will see you in the morning." the same poll shows that late deciders broke heavily for marco rubio, who beat expectations, and that left donald trump fighting for second place, ending his plans to run the electoral table. trump says "..we finished second and, i want to tell you something. i'm just honored." and, iowa also claimed two casualties. republican mike huckabee -- who won the caucuses here eight years ago -- dropped out of the race last night. so did democrat martin o'malley, reducing the democratic field to just two. on cam tag and about those two democratic candidates. fox polling data yesterday indicates that a majority of the democratic caucus goers -- fifty-five percent -- want to continue with the policies of

add up. good news coffee lovers -- the price for coffee beans are at a two year low. but that doesn't mean you'll pay less for that cup of joe. cnn's mary moloney explains. the type of coffee beans starbucks buys and serves to customers is now cheaper. last year -- a pound of coffee cost 1 dollar 65. it's now about a buck 11. that's a 33 percent drop. and it's only expected to get cheaper. officials in brazil expect coffee farmers to have a big harvest this season -- creating an oversupply of beans -- which means more of a drop in prices. but don't expect to when you buy that for a company like beans only make up about 20 percent of its overall cost. influencing the price you pay -- how much employees take home pay for up. more places across the

make dumplings with dough made from scratch. now if you want, instead of pouring the butter mixture in the bottom of the pan before you add the dumplings, you can pour the butter mixture over the dumplings right before you pour over the mountain dew. either way works! 2 cans, 10 oz. each, crescent rolls 2 nice sized granny smith apples 1 cup melted butter 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar 1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon 12 oz. mountain dew preheat oven to 350. mix butter, sugar and cinnamon and put into a 9x13 pan. core and peel
