temperatures mild for the morning. this afternoon, we will have rain and a few degrees climb with the afternoon showers. we put this into motion and we see a couple of spots in the mountains early. late morning, we see it in the piedmont and parts of the upstate later this afternoon. coming up pretty good this evening from 8:00 on. rate overnight. we will be dealing with it. we will talk more about what the rest of the week will be like in a few minutes. allyson: pickens county authorities are investigating after a fisherman found the body of a woman who appeared to be shot. patrick: officials say the fisherman called for help sunday morning after seeing the body on the boat ramp off buckskin road near saluda lake. investigators say 35-year-old farah khan of townville had severe trauma to the head from what appeared to be a gunshot. if you have any information that would help investigators, call crime stoppers at
allyson: the army national guard helped anderson county deputies look for evidence in a double homicide case. the crime happened about five weeks ago near pierce and amy road. officials say evidence from the homicides may be located along highway 184 near iva elementary school. the search spanned four miles sunday morning. deputies asked members of the national guard and the state guard to help out as they trained this weekend. there is no word on if officials found anything. patrick: now to a wyff news 4 update after a shooting in at a columbia mall. police say they're working to figure out if it was gang related. it happened saturday night at the columbiana mall. officers say two men were fighting, and then a third got involved. investigators say two of the men pulled out guns, shot into the air, and then took off. no one was injured. police have not identified the shooters, but believe the two men are between 20 and 25 years old. allyson: commitment 2016 now.

firefighters say the home did not have a working a smoke alarm. a bit of the opposite story in greenwood. greenwood police officer wes walker took a report last tuesday of a missing dog. hours later, he spotted a dog matching that same description lying in the road along reynolds avenue. walker stopped his patrol car to check on the animal. he said the dog appeared to have its two rear legs injured. so officer walker got down eye-to-eye with the animal to keep it calm until help arrived. that dog was treated at the animal shelter and released back to its owner. allyson: in north carolina, what's old will be new again at carowinds. if you plan on visiting the park this summer, you'll be able to enjoy rides that were popular years ago. our affiliate in charlotte is reporting that carowinds will debut a few refurbished vintage rides. the park is hoping to bring back memories that parents can share with their children. that won't be the only change at the park. the carolina harbor waterpark will open in may.
