500 OTR Christmas Holiday Shows Five hundred Christmas holiday-themed old time radio shows. Also includes some Christmas-week news and New Year's Eve shows (and year-end retrospectives and news). Plus the Christmas V-Discs (I've uploaded a set of V-Discs to Archive.org) and a rip of Dennis Day's 1958 LP Christmas Is For The Family (with Jack Benny). Not meant to be comprehensive but there's a lot, and they range from the ridiculous (The Christmas Bride) to the sublime (Truth or Consequence's...

An episode of the fifties television series ''You Asked for It'', featuring the following: Pin-up girls, a Skippy Peanut Butter commercial, Oscar-winners Bill and Coo, A Hawaiian cowboy-song singer, another Skippy Peanut Butter commercial, And a reunion of the "Our Gang" kids. (update: someone on another website did some research and it seems this episode aired on the long-defunct DuMont Network. I mention this due to the rarity of shows from the network, which are sought-after by...

This is 38 minutes from the 12 November 1956 episode of 1950s daytime show "Home". It is missing the opening 20 minutes. If you upload this somewhere, please note that it is incomplete. This is pretty much a show for the 1950s housewives, with segments on pepper mills, fashion, sewing, and other such stuff. The format of this U.S. series was copied by Australian broadcasters, so clearly SOMEBODY must have liked it. I don't have the rest of the episode.

The Adventures of Robin Hood is a British television series comprising 143 half-hour, black and white episodes broadcast weekly between 1955 and 1959 on ITV. It stars Richard Greene as the outlaw Robin Hood and Alan Wheatley as his nemesis, the Sheriff of Nottingham. The show followed the legendary character Robin Hood and his band of merry men in Sherwood Forest and the surrounding vicinity.
