i'm natalie herbick, and if you haven't figured it out just yet, we are doing an entire show about burgers, one of my favorite things. so we're traveling all over northeast ohio. i'm hanging out here at swenson's in akron, and while i check out this menu, i'm going to send you to north canton to a place where they smoke their burgers. (upbeat music) - smoke the burger joint is one of only a couple of restaurants in the country that actually features smoked hamburgers as the main menu item. so we start with a custom blend of angus beef, fresh meat, never frozen, season it, slow smoke it, and then it's a fast finish on the grill where we kind of get it sizzling again, melt the cheeses, and top it with some creative flavors from all across the country. like, we'll take inspiration from buffalo, and do a buffalo that has bleu cheese and shaved celery on it with a buffalo mayo. we'll do a kansas city steakhouse burger that has mushrooms and bleu cheese on it. barbecue restaurants have large smokers doing 1,800 pounds of meat. here we have three smaller smokers, frankie, angus, and chuck who do
