nick emmons live for us in lowell with the very latest. nick? >>reporter: the middlesex county district attorney's office and lowell police office announcing the arrest earlier this afternoon. the man taken into custody is a 21-year-old man from lowell. this occurred on lawrence street in lowell. the 15-year-old was suffered serious injuries. police say someone in the suspect's truck had an interaction with the victim before the incident and police believe this hit and run was intentional. police say this investigation is ongoing and the suspect will face numerous charge in court tomorrow. meantime that 15-year-old victim is still in children's hospital recovering from those injuries. we're told he is in stable condition. that's the latest live in lowell. nick emmons, 7 news. >>> now to some breaking news from logan. a delta flight if manchester, new hampshire to new york is diverted to boston the airline says as the plane approached jfk international this afternoon, there were strong winds, low visibility and the flight had to turn around and i

seven's nick emmons has more on what happened here in this terrifying chase. >> what was supposed to be a normal craigslist buy and sell did not end that way. phil, a 39-year-old gather of three who says he sells tennis shoes off craigslist as a hobby and to provide for his family. he was going to do that again but it went horribly wrong. the man says the teenager you see walking there got into the suv and pulled a gun on him. but the gun jammed. the teen then grabbed the tennis shoes and took off. that might have been the end of this story, about the it becomes a little more complicated from there. the teen tried to catch a bus, but the driver of the suv turned around and as you can see at the top of your screen ran over that teenager. the teen losing an arm underneath the car. and in the aftermath, the teen, with an adrenaline rush ran off with only one arm and collapsed in front of his home just a few blocks away. >> he's at the 69th precinct. they're bringing him down to central booking. they're going to arraign him on whatever charges, but he's working on getting a lawyer to hel
