we had 8,000 people out in dallas. and this is a pretty good turnout tonight. thank you very much, rochester. and the reason is that we're doing something very unusual. we're talking truth to the american people. and sometimes, you know, truth is not pleasant. you know, it's like you go to the doctor and you're not feeling well, even if the news is bad, you've got to know what's going on before you can get better. that's kind of what it is with our country today. we have to face some very unpleasant truths. let me give you a few. number one, you are living under, as tina mentioned, a corrupt campaign finance system which is undermining american democracy. i wish i could describe it in more pleasant terms, but i can't. when you have billionaires and wall street and corporate america pouring hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars into the political process, that is not democracy. that is oligarchy. and together we are going to stop that oligarchy. you know what democracy is about -- and i really do love democracy -- is one person, one vote. it is you disagr

you move over to dallas county. i just sent it the other way. a big lead there in this part. 91%, again, if she can keep this big lead as the rest of that comes in, it's comfort to her. let's come east. let's just stop up here, in story county, 86% of the vote in. when you look at the rest of the vote out, if he can keep this count, that narrows the gap a little bit. story county, not as big as polk county to the south, she gets more of a bounce, you come over here to the east, dubuque is one place second clinton is winning in the east. we have a lot of votes to count there. we have some math to do. lynn county right here. sanders with a pretty healthy lead there, 86% of the vote. iowa city is where the university of iowa is. most of the vote is in here. these votes are just about all counted. scott county, a big county, 87% in. sanders could gain some votes here, it's very close, he's not going to gain a lot. clinton has gone up a little bit since we started much she has a slight edge right now, it's 49.8 to 49.5. we have some counting to do. >

jason carroll traveling with his campaign and joins us now from dallas. rubio kept on trump's case. what did he have to say? >> what didn't he have to say when he was out here at this rally earlier. it seems like every time he went after trump, the more the crowd seemed to cheer. he seems to call him every name in the book. a clown, a con man. the more he talked about trump, the more the crowd seemed to love it. >> he was having a meltdown. first his makeup thing applying like makeup around his mustache. he had one of those sweat mustaches. then he asked for a full-length mirror. i don't know why because the podium goes up to here. maybe to make sure his pants weren't wet. so how does this guy, not one tweet, three tweets misspell words so badly? and i only reached two conclusions. number one, that's how they spell those words at the wharton school of business where he went. or number two, just like trump tower, he must have hired a foreign worker to do his own tweets. >> reporter: a large crowd that came out to see rubio today. much larger than we've seen in the pafts. some in the

he joins us now from dallas to discuss the race among republicans. ben, great to see you. trump told cnn he does not have to win iowa because he's doing well with so many groups in so many places. pretty surprising from a guy who tells his supporters they'll be tired of winning. but does he even have reason to be nervous? >> well, i think there certainly is a reason to be nervous and that is boyecause iowa voters le to mess with pollsters. people come out of nowhere. rick santorum was down by double digits just five days out in iowa, and he was able to actually win that by a decent margin over mitt romney and newt gingrich and others. that was a real point that iowa voters don't like to be told what they're supposed to do. they like to kind of keep things a little bit exciting. they don't like to feel like people are trying to overinfluence them or try to push them in one direction or another. they take a lot of pride in this caucus, and they certainly like to do things and shake it up on election day. i think this is smart for donald trump to be a little cautious here bec

we're learning a patient in dallas has been infected with the zika virus through sexual contact. this is the first reported case of the virus being transmitted during the outbreak. now other countries are delaying giving blood. dr. sanjay gupta joins us more on this. what more can you tell us about the spread of this virus through sexual contact? >> this was a confirmed case. there was suspicion, could this be spread via sex. but yesterday, the story was that a man who travelled to venezuela, he came back, he had some symptoms of zika infection. subsequently, he tested positive as did his sexual partner. the sexual partner was someone who hadn't left the state since 2008. so, again, they suspected that possibly this could be spread via sex but they weren't sure. keep in mind, you know, you think about infections like malaria, carol, that's transmitted via mosquitos but not sex. hiv, via sex but not mosquitos. this appears to be mosquitos and via sex. >> what will this woman do? >> keep in mind, if this is someone who is not pregnant, the vast majority of people won't have symptom

dallas later that afternoon we had over almost 8,000 people. so the political revolution is alive and well. we do of course, you know, we have some work to do with african american voters and that is work we are committed to doing. >> you talk about the numbers you had simone at some of the these rallies in austin yesterday. how do you secure and insure those people showing up at the rallies are also showing up at the polls? >> well, you know, you have to do the work of the ground game. and so we are proud of the campaign we ran here in south carolina. and we have a stock ground game in other states. super tuesday states all the way up through march 15th and beyond. we had state directors in each of the march 1 states early. we had organizations early. this is more than just the big rallies. the big rallies show the momentum, senator sanders ability to attract a crowd. people who are interested in criminal justice reform. raising the minimum wage. people who care about education for their kids. people who want universal healthcare. but it also

that happened in dallas. now the governor of texas has beefed up his response teams. two major airlines, both dealt and united, are allowing some employees to opt out of traveling to zika infected areas. let's bring in the man with the answers here our chief medical correspondent dr. sanjay gupta. as we keep reporting on these additional states, these additional cases, the spread of zika something they anticipated or is this sort of, you know, aharm bells ringing? >> i think they anticipated this. keep in mind all the people who have come back to the united states, those are people who are infected, have come back from one of these countries where zika is spreading. besides that situation in texas you mentioned where a man brought back zika and then through sex was -- ineffected somebody else. everyone else in the united states got this somewhere else and brought it back. that was expected. what they think will likely happen, although in very, very small amounts, is some local spread. probably in south florida, south texas. those are the areas where this type of virus
