the radar nice and quiet england. but we do track some snow showers southern connecticut and the the heaviest snow squalls east of long island right now. you also notice a band of some snow showers and snow squalls climbing into vermont and also up into the berkshires. there's enough instability that snow showers and squalls are day. i don't expect every single town to pick up on a burst of snow, but the towns that do see a burst of snow, much like a spring or summertime shower where it may come down hard for 30 or 60 minutes and that's pretty much it for the day, you inch. with temperatures today colder than yesterday, it does mean it will be easier for a snow shower or squall to coat the roads. so watch out for a couple slick spots if you do get underneath one of these heavier snow showers our squalls. coating to an inch in spots. that ought to do it in general. what we're focusing on this weekend is the bitter cold, and the forecast is not going the change. it's going to be cold saturday into sunday. we know that.
